Restored, rustic log cabin retreat directly on the bluff overlooking waterfalls and fiery gizzard nestled on 8 private acres. Original cherry hardwood floors, blend of modern kitchen and vintage barn wood, stacked stone, and slate floor. Antique decor from England. Cathedral ceilings. Master bedroom with queen bed and loft with full bed. 1 bathroom with ceramic tile shower, rain head, pebble floor and copper sink from Mexico. Mountain stone wood burning fire place and outdoor deck with fire pit. Heating/air conditioning. We have a smart TV and WIFI available for you to use. Linens, towels and bathroom accessories provided. Coffee maker with coffee, cooking utensils and dishes. Mini refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven also included! Come enjoy peaceful mountain sunsets, countless local attractions/activities, and fine southern hospitality! PLEASE NOTE: Hemlock Falls is a vacation rental AND wedding venue however, we do NOT book weddings or events via Home away or any other vacation rental website. You MUST contact owner to book a wedding or event. No children under the age of 12 may stay at the cabin. No pets allowed. Please read our rules before booking! PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A *NO PET POLICY* YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF $250 WOULD BE CLAIMED IF WE CONFIRM THAT THERE IS A PET AT THE PROPERTY. PLEASE READ OUR CHILD AGE POLICY BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY. PLEASE READ OUR RULES BEFORE BOOKING

RULES:
- NO PETS
- NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12, unless consulted with owner and approved
- NO EVENTS.
- NO SMOKING.
- MAX. 4 GUESTS ALLOWED.
- Please do not remove linens from the cabin.
- We have an older septic system, so please do not flush anything other than toilet paper or it could cause septic damages that you will be responsible for.
- Please do not take blankets or any linens to firepits.

GUEST ACCESS: At the entrance of our driveway, you will see a small, blue reflective marker with 5501 on it. After turning in the gravel drive, slow down and take the first left on pavement between two wooden barrel planters and a Hemlock Falls sign to the cabin. You will also see a large gray metal building on your left. Please call when you are 30 minutes out from arrival and you will be met with a personal check in and keys to the property.

CHECK-IN: We will personally greet you and help you check into the cabin upon your arrival! We live on adjoining property, though not visible from Hemlock Falls, we are only a short distance away.

Peaceful with a spectacular view

Cozy Cabin and a Spectacular Bluff

All aspects of the rental experience were excellent. We were graciously welcomed to this amazing place and given a tour of the property and an overview of the cabin. The pictures in the website do not do justice to the bluff, which is a short walk from the cabin. We had everything that we needed in the cabin. The location is fantastic for day hiking.

A little bit of Heaven on Earth!

Five stars is just not enough - our stay there was perfect! Lynn is terrific and the cabin had everything we needed. The views are amazing and loved we listening to the rushing water! We will be back!!

Little piece of heaven

This is an adorable place. My friends and I had a girls weekend and this was the perfect spot. We could go to the city in about 45 min snd we got away for a while. The owners were very helpful. He even made our fire pit for us both nights! The land is gorgeous! You can see trees and mountains for miles. The only issue we had was the internet was down or spotty. The owner said he was going to fix the issue though. Overall, it was a beautiful place and highly recommended!

Fantastic cabin.

The place was great. The host, Mr. and Mrs. Shelton are also. Very nice. Rustic cabin on the exterior, anything but on the inside. Very nice place. Very clean. We Came up for a concert at the caverns. Mrs Shelton met us to open up the cabin. Told us some good places to check out. From lunch, to the falls up the road which we highly recommend, to dinner plans. All of her recommendations were great.

This property is breathtaking, we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will return. My teenage daughter has stated she would like to have her wedding here. The property manager is kind and very helpful in navigating the area and various attractions close by. 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Beautiful views on an amazing property.

Nicely appointed cabin with everything needed for a worry free stay. The host covered all details and offered suggestions for food and entertainment in the area. Best of all the cabin is very private and the views from the bluff were magnificent.

Perfect in every way!

There aren't words to describe how amazing this property is, nor are there words to describe the kindness and hospitality of Lynn and Jimmy. They have thought of absolutely everything, and we are the lucky ones to experience their little slice of perfection! The cabin is equipped with every single thing you'd ever need, and Lynn is always available to answer any questions or give recommendations. You only get this kind of experience somewhere if the owners truly love the space--Their love for this property is abundant. We enjoyed evenings on the bluff with a glass of wine watching the sunset and nights on the patio with a fire going listening to the peaceful waterfalls. The cabin is immaculately clean, the beds are super comfortable, and our stay simply couldn't have been any better. Thanks again, Lynn and Jimmy! (Thanks also to Megan for checking us in; she did an awesome job and we so enjoyed meeting her!)

Magical

We came to Tennessee to see a concert at the caverns. We booked this little gem last minute when we decided to make it a 2 night trip. It was the most perfect getaway! The cabin is charming, cozy, clean, & everything you need! The sounds of the waterfall, the tree frogs and the fire crackling in the fire pit while overlooking the bluff into rolling hills of trees was so powerful. We watched the sunset until all the stars came out. Just magical. We will be back!!!

Hemlock falls cabin

A beautiful cabin with a great view. You can hear the creek flowing close by. The host was super helpful explaining the area to us. Highly recommend this place it was super clean also.

Wonderful

The cabin was great. Cozy, "a retreat", situated beautifully (really, we could not imagine a more picturesque and relaxing spot). We went for my wife's birthday, but also just to get away for the weekend. It was perfect. The hosts are amazing people and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely return.

Gorgeous

This place was absolutely amazing! It's less than 30 mins away from anything you need. 30 mins from Chattanooga and 90 min from Nashville. The small surrounding towns have amazing food choices. There's hiking and waterfalls, as well as swimming holes. The cabin is on 8 acres of beautiful property with a breathtaking view. You can't beat this place!

Quiet and Beautiful

I took my wife here for her birthday as a surprise, and we absolutely loved it. Went in the summer, so we got to experience the thousands of fireflies at night on the property. Between this and the overlook of the hills, this was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at in my life. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and wonderfully decorated. It has the perfect mix of a rustic feel and modern convenience. The owners are super friendly, and they are very excited to share this wonderful cabin with the rest of the world. We just got back home, and we are already talking about coming back.

A Magical Place

Hemlock Falls is an amazingly beautiful place that we are very fortunate to have found! We are thrilled that Lynn and Jimmy restored the cabin to be so perfect in every way, with a property that has a view that makes you want to sit all day gazing at the beauty before you. The cabin is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated yet comfortable in every way, and contains every single thing you could possibly need. I was personally taken with the screen door. Looking out from inside, it perfectly frames the view but it's the quintessential "creak" and way it sounds upon closing that made me ask my fiancé to get me the same door for at home. You could sit in the rocking chairs on the porch enjoying the breeze and sound of the waterfall all day. But you don't because the bluff draws you and there you will stay, for however long possible. We were fortunate to enjoy a fire on the bluff during a full moon lunar eclipse. As if the place isn't magical enough! We loved every single thing about Hemlock Falls and would not change a thing! We hope to be back. Thank you Lynn and Jimmy!

Amazing Anniversary Weekend

My wife and I had an amazing weekend getaway at Hemlock Falls to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary! The cabin was so nice and clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed for a relaxing time together and the views were breath taking. We will be making this a tradition and can’t wait to come back. Jimmy & Lynn we’re great hosts and we’re so friendly and helpful with tons of food recommendations and suggestions on fun things to do in the area, We really appreciated the hospitality. We can’t brag enough about this trip, it was truly an amazing experience.
