Our host was exceptionally helpful with suggestions and tips for the best restaurants, best hiking trails for older folks, avoiding traffic when using the automobile, our Grand Canyon visit. "I unfortunately cannot reccomend this property if you need to use the additional bed. it unfortunately is not the one pictured and the one now in the property has a 2-3inch thick "mattress" that feels like a bunch of springs coveredmin a sheet. Thank god my friend had an inflatable camping mattress in her car or id have had nowhere to sleep. Do not book here if need to use this bed. "We stayed here for a week (Mon-Fri) as part of our spring break vacation (escaping the Minnesota winter). Oak Creek was THE place to stay! Everything we wanted in the evening was within walking distance, and it was quiet. No need to deal with the touristy hordes of Sedona proper. Bell Rock is a few minutes away by car, or you can easily walk there for a sunrise hike (great way to spend our last morning). Sunsets there were awesome as well. And the cold AC is a must for me too, so nice! All the rooms were very clean too.
