"This property was the perfect place for our short trip to Maine. An easy 20-minute drive to Bar Harbor and even closer to Acadia. The apartment is clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and the property itself is beautiful. The porch overlooking the backyard is a nice plus. Barbara is a lovely host. "

"Excellent quiet location. Host is great communicator and responsive. Saw 6 deer in the back yard our last day. Amenities were well stocked and good quality appliances. Very clean. Excellent water and shower. Would recommend highly. Less than a mile to grocery store and the best restaurant on the island- Beal’s. Only issues were that room is a single atudio and there are a lot of lights on at night 7 to be exact - 3 clocks (microwave, stove, and alarm clock, the router, the wifi, the bathroom...

"We enjoyed our stay in the Elegant Suite! The Suite is Very Large 2 room suite with a nice size shower, 2 BR sinks and a Jacuzzi Tub (we did not use). It has a large kitchen sink, stove, microwave and Full refrigerator/freezer. Traditional Coffee maker and Keurig Cup in Suite. We were only there 3 days, but had everything we needed. King size bed was comfortable, we slept well. Our Only complaint was the Squeaky bed frame. LOL Every time my husband moved it squeaked!! But it didn’t cause...

"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The kitchen was well-stocked and had the space and all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the island but across the street from a pebble beach and only a half mile to the cute town of Southwest Harbor, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and a bakery. It’s an easy drive to some amazing hikes. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!"

"We loved our stay! Pictures didn’t do it justice as indoor and outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again.For those looking to explore Acadia National Park and sourrounding areas, this side of the island was more relaxed, more authentic, cooler in temp, and more laid back. "Although we were very pleased overall with our stay, I do have some complaints/criticisms: There were no instructions for contacting the property manager in an emergency, or what we might be expected to do on leaving (strip beds, empty trash?) I realize that there is a contact link on the web site, but that states a reply within 48 hours - not very responsive for a short stay or immediate problem. We were surprised that although there was hand soap at the sinks, there were no toiletries for the...

"The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. "
