Seaside Comfort is a charming, single-level home that is beautifully decorated and has recently been renovated throughout with new wood flooring, granite countertops, and stainless steel kitchen appliances. In the summertime, guests will enjoy spending hours together on the home's huge, front deck, complete with a picnic table and BBQ. After a fun-filled day at the beach, return home to the private hot tub perfect for a soak while sharing stories of the day's adventures.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood right next to Cartwright Park and just a few blocks from the beach. Broadway, with its family-friendly restaurants, souvenir shops, and entertainment options is only one mile north of this rental. And historic Fort Clatsop, where Lewis and Clark wintered, is an easy 15-mile drive from your front door.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). House was incredible! Plenty of space and comfort, had all the basics like towels, dishes pots and pans, warm comfortable stay. Loved that the neighborhood is quiet, it was easy to find and closely accessible to everything, very very very clean, master bedroom/bathroom was a huge comfort plus! We came and stayed and did a birthday weekend getaway for my 15yr old &their friends and it was truly a magical weekend for them.

The check-in process was easy, no problem. The house is not fancy by any means, but basic and did the job. A few things that are listed already in other reviews, like broken kitchen window lock, broken sliding door blinds still broken and lacks privacy, the house is next to a road, so after months of still being broken, as a home owner, I would not be ok with the company still not addressing these issues. The hot tub worked great and I would suggest designating hot tub towels, because the small tiny bath towels barely cover half my body and I’m small. The utensils in the kitchen aren’t enough if you have 10 people. They need more and the cooking utensils need to be addressed, not good quality and hard to good and serve with. The ice maker like the reviews below is still broken and the water doesn’t work either on the fridge. It’s really weird and should be addressed but again, it seems like the same issues that have been posted about for months and months are still not fixed. So if you read reviews and see things listed at this property, it’s likely still not fixed. The beds were clean and the housekeepers did a good job. The tub in the main bathroom does NOT drain and when you are showering it’s gross because you’re standing in your dirty water the whole shower. That needs to be addressed asap. Nothing is worse than trying to get clean and literally standing in gross shower water…. The house is right next to a park and that was a hit for my kids. The location is A

Great place, we had some minor complaints- no bed side lamps, freezer was frozen shut, and no BBQ grill as listed…but otherwise it was clean and excellent for socializing with family and very convenient to beach and shopping.

The property was very nice. We enjoyed how close it was to popular sites in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and had a large combined living room and kitchen.

Positives: large enough for 8-10 people. Nice linens on bed and great dining table. Four block walk to a lovely beach and promenade. Nice master bathroom. Working washer drier.The property is on a main street with a lot of people walking by looking in. The house needs a deep clean and some interior maintenance to get it back on track. 1) Hot tub was not working properly. While hot, it had sand in it and the jets were not functioning properly (likely due to sand). 2) 3 beach towels for 8-10 people were to few. 3) No gas for BBQ. We were instructed to buy some and that we would be reimbursed. Four days later no response to the reimbursement request with receipt. 4) Some kitchen items were run down and needed replacement 5) Water was not hooked up to the fridge so the water and ice in the fridge were inoperable. The ice maker tray would pop out every time the freezer was opened.6) Master bedroom did not have a cable box or remote for the tv.7) Master bedroom window could not be opened for air flow. The kitchen window handle was broken off and could not be opened. The blinds for the living room sliding door were broken so they could not be closed and need replacement for privacy.8) The couches need replacement. They look good but have zero support and the love seat left cushion is bunched up making that seat unavailable.9) Dishwasher soap drawer fails to open.

One of the main complaints I had regarding this property was that the only reason I rented it was the hot tub. A month before I received an email stating that it was broke and waiting on a part that was 3 weeks out. Checking in found out the hot tub still wasn’t working. Reading through the reviews this seems like an ongoing problem. I was told I would be reimbursed but have yet to see this refund. No air conditioning which wouldn’t have been a problem had there not been holes in the screens and no screens in some windows. The refrigerator did not keep things very cool and smelled horrible as well as the ice maker being broken. The property said a gas grill was present that we did not find the whole time we were there. The cleanliness of the place was not good at all There was trash under beds and crumbs under stove, under rugs and in cracks of the furniture. Upon arrival outside trash bins were completely filled with absolutely no instructions on trash pick up or check in/check out instructions. We did not feel safe with the locals and or transients in the area that gathered at the park every day at 5 pm or the police presence in the area.

Nice Stay Near the Beach

Our family of 6 stayed very comfortably here. The house was clean, and there were plenty of extra sheets and towels. The beds were mostly comfortable, and aside from no cookie sheets, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and not far from the beach. It was overall a good stay. The only problem was the hot tub was one of the main reasons we rented this house, but they let us know it was not working just before we got there, so that was a pretty big disappointment.

Disappointing Beach Trip

Was so excited to find a place that fit my special girls trip and that had a hot tub!! Unfortunately, one room had a full garbage can and dirty damp towels shoved in the dresser. Night one we got in our suits and the hot tub wouldn't turn on and was super murky. Called in and they did send someone the next day and again on day three but no luck. Supposedly had been serviced one week prior. Manager was great but only offered me an 85 dollar refund for the main feature of why I picked the house. Freezer was frozen over and said ice maker broken, use trays. No trays. Lots of rain and one of the light fixtures in the ceiling leaked all over the counter. Garbage and dirt under the beds. Drawers needed dusted out. Dishwasher element burnt something that had been left in the dishwasher previously. Needs lots of love before someone else should be allowed to stay here.

Lovely House, good layout, close to beach

Beautiful unit, well stocked. Sometimes you stay in places that can hold a lot of people but then there aren’t enough plates or utensils or chairs or seats at the table. This place had it all. The hot tub was lovely to use even though it was cold out. It was nice to have a hot place to soak.

Nice weekend getaway!

House was very clean and nice for our group of friends to have a weekend away, the hot tub lid was a little rigidy and 1 of the bedroom doors got stuck really bad other than that the house was clean, organized, and inviting for a great weekend away! So close to downtown and the outlet mall and food!

Review

The over all stay was good. The only issue was that the house was dirty. The shower curtain was dirty and there was hair in the shower as if I wasn’t cleaned. There was also beer under the bed from the last person that stayed.

We enjoy our stay at this house. Location was absolutely perfect. I would recommend to add a few things. In the bathrooms there is no hooks for towels and in the bedrooms it will be nice to have extra mirror. Otherwise we really enjoy this property.
