East Texas 3-bedroom Rustic Home with Hot Tub and Campfires, by the lake

The epitome of peace and quiet - Sprawling 3 bedroom home across from the Lake Bob Sandlin in East Texas. Enjoy a campfire outside, chasing fireflies in the yard, or throw a football on the 2 acre lawn, then take a nap on the swinging day bed on the screened in front porch. You can cook out, build a fire, or destress in the bubbling hot tub in the rear screened-in porch. Relax on the back porch dining area with a cup of coffee or wine, watch the deer and bunnies come through the yard, and still have all the conveniences of a home away from home.

SLEEP: Master suite has a king bed, Smart TV and separate sitting room with chaise lounge, rocking chair, treadmill and rower, along with some yoga equipment. Guest room downstairs also has a king bed, TV, built in desk, plenty of storage and closet. Guest room upstairs has its own full bathroom, walk in closet, and double bed. Towels and linens included.

THE HOME: Huge stone fireplace in the living room with a big leather reclining sectional that some say is a great place for naps. The dining table flips over and doubles as a poker table (takes 2 people so be careful!) It seats 4 and there are 2 barstools at the counter. Patio also has a dining table that seats 4. Additional folding chairs available. Kitchen has full size gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, Instapot, air fryer, crock pot and fully stocked dishes and cooking items. Keurig, regular coffee pot and French Press available. There is also an older washer and dryer, they can be a bit loud but you are welcome to use them.

TO DO: Dart board, corn hole, boardgames, and more. The walkway to the lake is across the street (see the aerial map picture), if you'd like to bring your gear to fish or kayak. There are boat ramps nearby too.. There is a Bluetooth speaker available on the back patio that you can use, and camp chairs for the fire pit. There is a hot tub available if you'd like to add that usage to your booking.

This is our home too and we are excited to share it with you, but we also appreciate your respect for the items in it. We have some things that we look forward to using when we get there, so if anything gets broken, we ask that you just let us know.

Important notes:
Keep in mind this property is near the woods and a lake. You can expect to encounter everything from deer and foxes to spiders and crickets. You'll hear owls and tree frogs at night and see deer walk through the yard, and maybe hear the occasional coyote. Though we have routine pest control, there are always some annoying bugs and insects that survive it and that we have to deal with.

Outdoor security cameras are in use on the property. They are typically not actively monitored and are in place to provide security when the premise is not occupied. Please do not tamper with the cameras.
