"The Sunset Dome was absolutely stunning from the beginning to the end of our retreat. The views were picturesque and the atmosphere was breathtaking, it was such a peaceful and calm environment with no distractions.The nature and solitude offered a sense of peace and a chance to reconnect with each other. "The pool was nice. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay! We had fun fishing the lake. The propane grill was great. The AC stayed nice and cold.Drawbacks: the kitchen is decorated cute but lacking in usable dishes. There is too much decoration for the limited counter space. There was no big skillet for cooking. "My wife and I rented the place so that the kids and grandkids could come spend the day with us on the lake. We docked our boat there. There is a great spot for all the little ones to swim and play. The place was super nice. Scott actually messaged us during our stay to ensure everything was outstanding and we were have a great time. "Our church Leadership group had a retreat here and it was the PERFEECT place for our event! Every bedroom was spotless, comfortable, and nicely furnished! Bathrooms were great - everyone had their own space and the common areas were fantastic as well. Checking in and out were a breeze - just can't say enough good things about this place. If you are considering it for an event - don't hesitate! You will love it!"
