"My partner and I stayed for one night and we had a great time. Beautiful surrounding location and a very cozy room. The hosts were great communicators for any questions I had. The only thing I wish was different about our stay is as other people noted, you need to bring lots of extra water to use for drinking/washing up because of the non-potable water in the room. "The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there."

"I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer."
