We are located right in the heart of Savannah's Historic District. As is typical in Savannah, our property consists of two buildings: A main house and a carriage house located behind it. Built in 1885, our carriage house is in a quiet residential neighborhood 50 yards from Troup Square. The unit was carefully renovated/decorated to keep its historic charm. We also have a working fireplace!

-- Open Plan Dining Room/Living Room. Dining area has 1920ā€™s oak draw-leaf table that can seat six, and a fireplace. Living area has comfortable, queen-size pullout sofa-bedā€”one that you would actually be happy sleeping on!ā€”custom manufactured by Rowe Furniture in North Carolina, with ā€œCloud Coilā€ innerspring air mattress system.

Perfect place for exploring Savannah!

This rental was exactly as described (possibly even better) and the location was perfect! We were able to walk many places in Old Town and easily drive out of town for exploring further. We were so incredibly comfortable and happy with this little place that we spent more time at the rental than we usually do. Modern kitchen and bathroom, ample bedroom, & cozy living/dining area. We appreciated the washer dryer and enjoyed the little semi-private deck.

Relaxing Stay

We were in Savannah for the week. The house is cute and comfortable and walking distance to just about anything down town. We picked up a walking guide book and used it to guide us around town several days and we took a drive to Tybee island one day. We enjoyed everything and knew we had our comfortable cottage after a day out. We will be back<3

Old world space in great locale

I stayed here for 2 days. The place was great, and had an old world charm to it (though it's fully updated). It was in a great location too: close enough to walk into town, but not too close where street noise could be a factor. Very comfy place!

Perfect location in historic district

We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood, the secluded patio for eating and drinking, the proximity of the Beach Institute for morning coffee and brunch as well as museum tour. The cottage furnishings are beautiful and queen bed is very comfortable. We would definitely return.

Cute property

This property was very nice, clean, and as shown in the picture. Old house but very nice overall. Kitchen was well stocked and big considering size of the house. Location was awesome. Within 10-15 min walk of everywhere. Property manager Pam was very nice by stopping in our little backyard to chat with us and answered of of our questions. A great stay

Charming stay in great location

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Itā€™s adorable and nicely updated with every amenity we needed. The bed is very comfortable. We were able to park with no problem in a small SUV. The location is wonderfulā€” easy to walk to River Street or drive to the islands.

Walk to Everything in Savannah Historical District

The cottage had everything we needed for our short visit to Savannah. We chose to use the free street parking and then walked everywhere. It's close to restaurants and is easy to access the best of the historical district and river district. It has a nice kitchen, comfortable bed and washer/dryer.

Quiet and peaceful

We loved our stay at the jingle bells cottage. The directions for check-in were clear and precise. We found the house to be clean and beautiful! The perfect mix of old and new with the old flooring and fireplace, but an updated kitchen and bathroom. The parking space is small, but with the recommendation from the property manager, we unpacked before we parked. We were grateful to not have to pay to park or park on the street. The small touches, like dvds to watch that were filmed in Savannah (Forrest gump!) and having popcorn bowls available in the cabinets were not missed! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!

Quaint & Clean

Adorable little cottage! Great combination of historical structure and modern conveniences. Very clean, comfortable beds (the pull out couch with inflatable air mattress was very comfy). Close to the historic area, short walk straight down Price St to the Pirate House. Only 15 minute walk to Forsyth Park. Great location! Our 2 and 4 year old thought the cottage was wonderful! The parking spot is very narrow, but we emptied out vehicle first then backed in and didnā€™t move it until we were ready to leave. We drove a Chevy Silverado with 4 door Crew cab. Once parked, the only door accessible was the driver side. We could access the truck bed from the garden gate though, so it worked out well. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great little cottage

What a cozy little cottage! Host was so nice and even came to check on us to see how we were doing and give us recommendations on where to go. We had enough room for 4 adults. In a great area and walking distance from everything. The parking spot is very tight but we made it! We drove a Highlander anything bigger would not fit. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

A quiet getaway

This was the perfect little cottage for our vacay. It's located not too far from Riverstreet & just minutes from the park. Everything was there for us to use during the stay. They even gave superb restaurant recommendations. I was very happy with this visit & plan on using the Beach Institute again!

Incredible, comfortable place

We arrived easily at the property and had access to the home. It is so quaint and comfortable. Absolutely everything we could have needed was there for our use. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of the whole historic district. Our experience could not have been better! Donā€™t miss eating at the Pirateā€™s House

Lovely property, perfect location

What a lovely little gem. We absolutely loved this little cottage with a full kitchen, living room, comfortable bedroom and a intimate patio just for us. It was the perfect atmosphere and a short walking distance to the old historic district. We are in the heart of it. Quiet safe neighborhood. We will definitely be staying here again!
