Everything about this property including the communication of host (Michel) exceeded all expectations! The location with immediate access to the beach for snorkeling and relaxing, the size of the house for 9 people with kids sleeping comfortably in the living room, the attention to detail like turf surrounding the house for kids to play soccer, the quiet not so busy neighborhood, and the snorkeling gear provided by hosts made this such an enjoyable stay. The kitchen was a great size for making breakfast and lunch, plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and all the bedrooms were large with cold table beds. Very clean inside and out! Would 10/10 recommend and would go stay here again 100%!

Excellent accommodations, phenomenal location, fantastic local neighbors and town bar, astronomical beach, and the most loving visitors ever (local dogs)…made this stay the most perfect getaway and vacation. The hosts were hands down amazing and very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The house was adorable and had not only had room for everyone but the layout was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to camp out for the final days of our vacation.

This is an absolutely amazing location right in front of Mangel Halto park which has some of the best snorkeling on the island. It's amazing being able to wake up and walk to the park grabbing any spot you want with the luxury of being able to easily walk back to the house to refill drinks or grab a bite to eat. The kitchen was very well equipped, we had everything we needed for making drinks and meals. The beach chairs, floats, and snorkeling gear was a huge plus. The view from the living room and front porch just can't be beat. There's some talk about the alarm, we felt safe the entire time. This is a great escape from the high and low rise touristy areas which is much more our style of vacation.

We LOVED our stay here. Savaneta/Pos chiquito is our favorite part of the island to stay… we love being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns. Mangel halto is an incredibly gorgeous beach and this house is perfect. The cozy and comfy decor and the sliders that open all the way across the front of the house set the perfect Caribbean vibe. The layout of the 3 beds and 3 baths give plenty of privacy and space for everyone. There’s no need for a pool… just take a float into the gorgeous water of mangel halto and you’re instantly in heaven!!! Also great snorkeling spot! The owner Michel is so quick to communicate and very helpful with anything you need. We will 100% be staying here again! We’ve stayed in some great houses in aruba, and this one is now our favorite.A few things to note are that Mangel Halto is a local area. The locals love to hang out here in the evenings and play their music and cut loose. We LOVED this, but this vibe may not be for everyone. There are also dogs that walk freely around the area and they are super friendly and love company. We also loved this!!! We felt safe and comfortable at all times. If what you want is a genuine aruba experience, this is the perfect place to stay!

We had a girls trip (3) for a week stay at the house. Michel was an amazing host. All questions were answered quickly. Anything that needed some attention was taken care of immediately. He actually bought a crockpot for the house since I had asked if they had one. Not everyone would do that!The kitchen was totally stocked with whatever you may need, including a new crockpot! All 3 baths are large and each bedroom had plenty of closet & drawer space. The entire house was clean and nicely decorated. We hardly spent time inside the house, we spent all our time out front. People watching was great and we swear that Jerry Garcia drove by every morning in an old white pickup truck with 2 dogs in the back, waving at us with a smile!It's a quick walk to the beach, which is beautiful, make sure you wear your water shoes in the water, it's all small rocks. Snorkeling was great in the water across the street. Sunsets were beautiful.The house has an alarm system which was great, It really made us feel safe at night. The grill is charcoal, so if you want to grill you'll need to buy some briquettes. There is a ton of beach gear and also lots and lots of beach towels. There's a small store around the block that has many items. They do sell beer. Our last night we ate at the Flying Fishbone. Great food and our table was in the water! The sunset there was amazing.There were 3 beautiful dogs that hung out with us. We named them after our husbands! LOL. You will LOVE it here!

We loved this property and location! Being able to go explore the island and then come home and walk across the street and relax was perfect! Very clean, had everything we needed to cook as well as snorkel gear and a cooler. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!!

Perfect location and lodging

Has to be one of the most well-appointed rentals I've ever stayed at. Plenty of supplies for cooking, snorkeling, hanging out, or relaxing on the beach. The location could not be better! Right on the water in a safe neighborhood.

Family-friendly accommodations

This was one of the most well stocked VRBO stays we’ve booked. Everything was on hand from toiletries to kitchen items like coffee filters, dishwasher soap, etc. The laundry even had pods for the one load we ran. Right across the street from a beach and snorkeling spot with a wagon to take beach supplies. Also stocked with family games.We were there over Christmas week, so be prepared for other beach goers coming & going down the block and parking can get full in front of the property view of the water. It’s a setting with people enjoying music, so if you’re expecting seclusion, this isn’t the right pick.Furniture seems new and well cared for.Location is a central point on the island and nothing was farther than 30 mins drive. If going to National Park is part of your plans, opt for the 4 wheel drive vehicle.The block behind has a family restaurant La Tavola (Anna’s place) which was the best dining experience we had on the island. A must book reservation if you are a foodie.

Fantastic property

The location was great, we could drive to any landmark on the island in less than 30 minutes. The views, especially sunsets are amazing! The home had everything we needed for a fun family vacation at the beach and generally everything for living around the house too. The restaurant down the street from the property had a very cool atmosphere, great food, and the people were so friendly and welcoming. The host promptly answered the very few questions we had throughout the stay expeditiously. Absolutely recommend this property!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The location was perfect for staying away from the commercialized areas but close to everything we wanted to do because nothing is really far away in Aruba. We especially enjoyed walking out the front door with our snorkel gear in hand and needing nothing else because we could walk across the street and get right into the water for great snorkeling. There is plenty of snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, fins, water shoes) available but would suggest just bringing your own mask if you snorkel a lot so you don’t have to try to find one that fits you well without leaking. We also had some amazing meals very close to the home including La Tavola (don’t miss this place, it’s incredible), Marina Pirata, and Flying Fishbone. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 bathrooms is a major plus. Air conditioning works great too. The only very minor issue we had was with figuring out the alarm, but the host promptly answered a text and then took our call to walk us through it. We could not have asked for better communication. Hosts were exceptional and even helped with our dinner reservations before our arrival. There are so many more great things I could say about this property (I.e. great view, comfy hammocks, nice backyard, and felt safe), but bottom line is you won’t regret staying here. Just rent a car or Jeep so you can see and experience the entire island.

Perfect Getaway with Stunning Views and Exceptional Hospitality!

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! The communication from the hosts was excellent, making the entire experience seamless. The property itself is lovely, offering perfect views of Mango Halto. We especially appreciated the availability of chairs and snorkel gear, which made our beach days even better. We can't wait to return to this amazing spot again!

Great House and Great Host

My wife and I stayed here in July 24. Just us two. Michel was wonderful to work with and very communicative. House was very clean thanks to Marie and equipped with everything you could possibly want/need. Michel has gone to great lengths to make sure your stay is exceptional. This was our first time to Aruba, and maybe the only island we have not visited. We have avoided Aruba because of the crowdedness which is why we avoided the "hotel zone" this time. This house was perfect for us. It is in a real local working neighborhood with lots of houses. (a dump truck lives next door) It sits steps from the water across a neighborhood street that desperately needs a speed hump. Its also across from a very popular snorkeling spot that dumps off "hotel zone" tourist all day for swim, beach, and kayak. This is good and bad, did not bother us one bit. Roaming dogs are all friendly. Never felt unsafe and small grocery and snack shops are very close. (if you need a quick bite anytime, La Granga is 3 km away and good) You are about 20 minutes from hotel zone, 10 minutes from Baby Beach and everything is a very easy drive. If you want people, they are nearby. You got to try Flying Fishbone, Marina Pirata (close by) and Pinchos, super good restaurants. We will be back to this house for sure, loved it! We almost felt like locals by the time we left. (If you see a sweet calico cat, we named her princess and please feed her)

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect for our 2 families. There were 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The backyard had a large covered area to eat, relax or hang out. The living room, dining room and front yard had beautiful views of Mangel Halto Beach (our favorite beach). The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Each bathroom had body wash, shamppo and conditioner. There were hair dryers and a steamer to iron clothes and the kitchen was fully equipped. The fridge had a water and ice dispenser which never ran out of ice and was perfect for filling our water bottles before leaving the house daily. The house is right across the street from the beach which was the best part! We loved being able to just walk across the street to go to beach. The house also has an outdoor shower to wash yourself off after the beach. Michel responds very quickly if there is anything you need. My kids say this was their favorite vacation! We would LOVE to stay here again!

Family Getaway

We loved the views from the house and spent lots of time on the front patio relaxing while watching the snorkel and scuba folks. The house was comfortable, clean and cool. We liked the location outside of the resort hustle and bustle. It is a short drive to the different beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed the donkey sanctuary so much. Baby Beach and Arashi Beach were our favorites. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and in the resort areas. The swimming and snorkeling is great at the house. It was the perfect place to stay!

Our favorite vacation spot

We stayed in this house by accident 2 years ago because we were unable to stay in home we had rented due to plumbing issues. It was a blessing. Loved the location of this house. When we decided to return we were pleasantly surprised that the home furnishings had been updated as well as the landscaping. There is faux grass that I wasn’t sure I would like but it is actually perfect. So much better than concrete and/or dirt. We could sit or lie in the hammock on the front porch and gaze out on the ocean. Three bedrooms and three baths are perfect when you’re traveling with other couples. Plus the rooms are very spacious. Can’t wait to return next year!

Snorkeling Paradise!

This home was everything and more. Amazing location with best seat to view the sunset. Communication with Michel was perfect. The home feels comfortable, has everything you need and more. On the quiet side of the coast so rent a car to drive into town, or to other sites as needed. Then come home to safety, comfort, and an amazing sunset. Wake up and have coffee on the porch, then jump into the clear blue waters of Mangel Alto! Been to Aruba a few times, but this visit was the best to date. Enjoyed the decor, and the ample space. The hammocks in front and back felt like a gift from the Universe. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

Nothing short of amazing!

Beautiful property. It has everything you need to be comfortable. All you need is food and beverage. Michel is very responsive, call, text or VRBO messages. His property inspires me to get my own. Aruba is, of course, stunning. We rented a car and explored. Parking rates were either free or very cheap ($1-2, for 2 hours). Definitely will be returning to Aruba and to this property. Fantastic hosts!
