Comfortable stay and awesome location

This house is not big but the bedrooms are all roomy, and it would be hard to beat the location! So much is within walking distance. There's a small shopping plaza right behind the house with a breakfast restaurant, a bakery, and an English style pub. Just a little further is a Publix and two bicycle shops. Walts Fish Market is also well within walking distance, as are the two parks at Siesta North Bridge.Now, you might be concerned about the traffic on Siesta Dr. which builds up later in the day and on weekends, but if you head out the other direction there is a back street which you can use to get all the way to the bridge and also south all the way behind Walts and to other destinations on US-41. We never had an issue getting out onto Osprey or Siesta Dr. while we were here even when the traffic was backing up at the light - just use those back streets.The only real downside is there is no garage and no pool, but if you're okay with that then it would be hard to beat this location.

Everything we needed

The house was easy to access. Communications from the host were very helpful. The house was clean and stocked with all amenities including welcome packets of toiletries.We appreciated the very modern and well-equipped kitchen because we cooked some of our meals. We recommend the home to anyone looking for a house to rent in this area.

fabulous location

We loved our stay here. it was perfect for four adults. all the bedrooms were roomy and had lots of storage. the location was great - we were near so many fun activities, grocery stores and fun shops. Would definitely stay here again

Location is key

The location of this property is perfect for a couple, family or small group to enjoy all that Sarasota and Siesta have to offer!! We enjoyed evening walks in the quiet Granada neighborhood, sunsets at the bridge just up Siesta Dr, and quick trips into the city and Keys avoiding traffic on major roads. Just behind the property is the best bakery in town (Bread Bandits), Oasis Cafe, and Shakespeare’s Pub!! The home is equipped with everything you need, including a gas grill and cooler for outside gatherings in the cute enclosed side patio. We stayed for a month in the off season, when traffic noise on Siesta Dr was at a minimum. I would imagine it can get quite loud in season. Something to consider if you’re looking for peace and quiet😉

Best vacay ever.

We really enjoyed our stsy in Sarasota at the lovely house and neighbohood. The hoyse was really charming with all the necessities you could want. Will really like to return to Sarasota next year for another stat.

Cute little home for a relaxing getaway

We stayed in July 2023. Although the weather is very hot, the home made it so much more enjoyable to come back to you. Very accommodating, amenities make check in a breeze!

Comfortable

We, along with other family members, were in town to clean out my brother's condo who passed away last fall, so not a vacation trip. The house was comfortable, conveniently located and provided us space to review documents while still being able to relax in the evenings. Would recommend to others.

Great location!

Great location, close to beaches and restaurants. Updated, but needs more outlets to charge phones etc. We had some plumbing issues, but overall enjoyed are stay.

Great visit

We had a nice stay. Great location and proximity to the north bridge was super. Everything you need is close. Beds were comfortable. A little traffic noise but you still feel private with the fence and landscaping. Owners were easy to reach even though we didn’t need them. Thanks for having us!

Great Sarasota Location

This house was an ideal size for 6 adults. It was clean and well maintained. It has a great location for visiting Sarasota. Very close to Siesta Key and its beaches, but also very accessible for St. Armands, Long Boat Key, South Lido Beach and Myakka State Park.

Clean well keep house

Renting was very easy and quick responses to questions and problems. Easy access to restaurants and the beaches ( 10 minute drive) One shortcoming was the house sides with a very busy/noisy street... so bring your ear plugs.

Great Little House close to everything!

Minutes to Siesta Key! In a nice upscale restaurant. The main road is a bit noisy, but this house is a nice place for the price and convenience.

Ants, broken appliances, flies, and rats!!!

Low quality and very overpriced. Extremely uncomfortable - nothing to lounge on. We needed a place to stay while our home was being remodeled. Location was good - but on the corner of a busy street so lots of traffic noise. That wouldn't be horrible, but we started our stay with tons of ants everywhere... kitchen counters, floors, etc. Terrible. This persisted during our entire stay. Then we realized that there isn't a single comfortable chair, sofa, or bed in the house. Literally the cheapest of the cheap. Horrible! The mattresses are the worst and THEN they have plastic covers on them which is the most sweaty and uncomfortable thing to sleep on. Like it's for 3 year olds to sleep on. The dishwasher was missing the whole top rack - they did get a new one after a week or 10 days. The refrigerator leaks and they wouldn't fix it. Annoying to clean up everyday. We are pretty sure that there is a cracked sewage pipe in the one bathroom which leaves a sour smell lingering in the bathroom - they had a plumber come to look but he actually didn't even check the pipes. BUT then.... there was this other smell that was so disgusting you can't even imagine. After sealing off the bathroom for more than a week and many complaints to the owners, they finally came to investigate. Spent an entire day at the house - inconveniencing us - but finally discovered a DEAD RAT in the wall. So we lost the use of the bathroom for 10 days and guess what? They gave us basically a one night credit for our inconvenience. UNBELIEVABLE!!! It was very disappointing - I could go on and on.... they should be paying you to stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Very clean, beautiful, very comfortable beds and sheets. The house is few minutes from the most beautiful Siesta Key beach and close to Siesta Village shops and restaurants. They even had all the beach gear for us. Thank you, we will stay with you again and tell everyone about your place!

Great property

We had a great stay for a week. The house was close to several beaches and family activities. The only issue was communication with the host when we were needing a few more trash bags and dish detergent as 7 people eating most meals at the house uses up dishes :) would happily stay again though!

Nice, noisy basic house

Property description says 8 people can sleep here but 8 people can’t sit at a table to eat, watch TV or hang up a towel. While there is an outside patio, it’s on a super busy street and the noise loud and constant. While the house has been remodeled and was very clean, it is under furnished. There are no dressers for clothing in two of three bedrooms. In fact, two bedrooms have a bed and bedside tables, one light and nothing else. The last ing room had one light and a very bright fan light. We couldn’t figure out how to watch Netflix on the living room satellite TV which meant going to bed to watch a movie. The location but for the traffic is good. The house is within walking distance or biking distance to many places. Drive to the beach is close .
