Beautiful mountain retreat home in Mountain Club at Cashiers

Professionally decorated home in Mountain Club at Cashiers located in North Carolina’s beautiful Sapphire Valley just 2.5 miles from the heart of Cashiers. This newly decorated home features two separate living areas. The house is beautifully appointed with custom bedding and window treatments and two separate large porches upstairs and downstairs and one screened in porch off the living room and upstairs master bedroom. Enjoy the cool nights either by a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace inside or by the fire pit outside. Enjoy your mornings sipping coffee on the screened porch in a beautiful bed swing. The outdoor expansive deck is a great place to enjoy cooking on the Webber grill and then enjoy your meal on the porch. The bedrooms are all appointed with top of the line mattresses, linens and custom bedding and draperies. The upstairs master bedroom offers a king bed, smart tv, a sauna shower. The downstairs master offers a king bed and garden tub, smart tv and also opens to a large porch. The guest room has two twin beds, private bath and smart tv. Each room also has an Amazon Alexa. The upstairs great-room features ample seating, satellite smart tv with separate Bose speaker and opens to the screened porch. The dining area offers seating for eight and a fully equipped kitchen. The downstairs living room has lots of comfortable seating, smart tv with separate Bose speaker, a coffee/cocktail bar, separate refrigerator and game table.

Picturesque and inviting mountain location in the heart of Cashiers and Sapphire Valley. The accommodation was top notch, cozy and warm. Close to so many great hikes and waterfalls, can't wait to come back! We loved it!

We had an incredible time here. As someone who often brings their own knives to a rental property, I have to say this was by far the best appointed kitchen I have ever had the pleasure to vacation in. Owner was friendly and communicative. The porch spaces are to die for. Everything was just as the pictures described (but also better! It’s hard to capture the space properly in a picture). We will certainly be back.

Our visit to this property owned by Jan Barry could not have been more. The property is beautifully decorated and more than adequately supplied. Jan’s graciousness and concern were top notch in helping us leave early after experiencing the loss of all utilities when Hurricane Helene swept through this area of North Carolina.

Cozy Mountain Escape Perfect for Relaxation

Our stay at the Beautiful Mountain Retreat Home in the Mountain Club at Cashiers was exceptional and truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate condition of the house. The cleanliness was top-notch, making us feel instantly at ease. The beds in this home are some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, featuring top-of-the-line mattresses and linens that ensure a restful night's sleep. This attention to comfort made our getaway even more relaxing. The property owner was incredibly responsive, addressing our queries promptly and ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their hospitality and attentiveness were much appreciated. The house itself is a dream getaway. We loved spending our evenings by the beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace. It created such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The screened porch with a delightful bed swing was another highlight, offering a serene spot for morning coffee while taking in the surrounding beauty. Adding to the charm was the convenience of the location. Nestled within the Mountain Club, it was secluded enough for privacy but close to the amenities we needed. Whether it was exploring the nearby attractions or simply enjoying the luxurious comforts of the home, every aspect of our stay was designed for relaxation and enjoyment. We look forward to returning to this stunning retreat. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the perfect mountain getaway!

Beautiful and comfortable home!

The home was exactly (or maybe even better) than advertised. It was not only beautifully decorated but comfortable and spacious as well. We loved the screened porch and the large open deck. (There was also an open deck on the lower floor, along with a firepit.) The unit was very well equipped, better than any rental we have ever stayed in. Best of all, Jan, our host, was very friendly and attentive. We would love to rent it again!

The house is beautiful , very well equipped in an excellent location and with easy access to the Sapphire Resort amenities . The manager / owner Janice is responsive , helpful , and friendly . This is a special place with a very special owner .I recommend without hesitation .

Family Summer vacation

It is a beautiful home with comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit and read or play games. Surrounded by trees and very quiet. Lots of fun of things to do in the area like horseback riding, hiking, lake time, rafting. The host is quick to respond to questions.

Beautiful Mountain Home

Our family of 6 stayed in this Sapphire property & 8 of us in nearby townhome. We enjoyed Tubing(reservation for groups over 10 people) and Ski School for first time skiers. The home is top notch & host Jan very responsive to our needs. My only issue is the VrBO map was not accurate with the listing map indicated on the other side of 64 within walking distance to the slopes. To be fair, the listing said Mountain Club which folks who are not familiar with the area (myself included) would not know that the map provided by VRBO suggested was not 91 Springs Way. We visit nearby Lake Glenville every summer, and this was our first time at Sapphire. Despite that location issue very glad we found this home for this visit. We considered the hotel, but the amenities provided were crucial to enjoying the Ski/tubing activities on a Holiday(New Years) weekend. This home was very comfortable & clean.

Wonderful property and host

We’ll maintained, beautiful and comfortable home. Convenient location, easy drive, quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed and then some. The owner was most attentive and responsive, a pleasure to rent from. I highly recommend!

Beautiful home in Cashiers!

This home is absolutely beautiful with all the high end conveniences. We loved the real fireplace and outdoor fire pit. There is every imaginable kitchen tool which made cooking at home easy and lots of room for my family of 5 to comfortably spread out. The steam room in the upstairs master bathroom was an added plus! The location was secluded enough to have lots of privacy, yet had wonderful conveniences close by for our family (game room, gym, grocery store, coffee shop, etc.). We felt very welcomed into the home by our host. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property and we hope to be back again soon!

Jan was a very responsive host. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Very spacious and great location to Cashiers, Sapphire Resort and Highlands. It was nice to be able to use the amenities at the resort as well. We would definitely stay in this house again!

Fun time in the Mountains

We had such a good trip. Jan's home is beautiful; great floor plan, high quality furnishings, and an excellent location. You can tell that a lot of planning went into building and furnishing it. Our group enjoyed sitting around the firepit one evening. There is a good place to play board games on the ground floor. We cooked out on the gas grill 2 nights and enjoyed dining on the outside deck. Everything was just as advertised. Also, very clean. I would recommend this home without hesitation!

Mountain Luxe in Cashiers

Jan & Art have provided one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. From special touches, to the nicest bedding and quality items throughout, we enjoyed this mountain home tremendously. Jan is a gracious host who is a pleasure to communicate with & the location is the perfect jumping off point for hiking & waterfall chasing in the nearby Pisgah, Sumter, and Nantahala National Forests as well as exploring beautiful Lake Glenville. We love the gorgeous drive to nearby Whiteside Mountain & the Highlands too. We look forward to future visits to this special place; my 13 yr old son only wants to return to this serene & wonderfully appointed home! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us!
