The front porch has plush oversize seating and a swing for morning coffee and late night relaxation with beautiful lighting. There was also a covered deck area steps away from the house that sat next to the creek which allowed you to stretch out and listed to the water and soak up nature. "We loved our stay at Cattail Cottage. It was cozy, comfortable and close to the shops in Cashiers. There were several outdoor spaces to enjoy. The kitchen has a great coffee/tea bar and it was stocked with samples for your visit. The owner also left a snack basket that we throughly enjoyed. Checkout was a breeze! "

"Our family stayed here for a short little vacation and had a blast. The house looks just like the pictures and the fenced in area of the yard was great for the dogs. There is also a doggy door, which I didn’t realize when booking but we loved having it. Its just a short drive to devils fork state park. We rented a pontoon for a day ao the whole family could be on the lake together. We also took a john boat with us and had no trouble parking at the house. The drive way if definitely a little hill...
