"The promise of farm animals was the major attraction for us when we chose to stay at The Farmhouse. And we can’t overpraise how fun and interesting our stay turned out to be. Owners Kris and Francisco care for chickens, geese, a Tom Turkey, ponies, goats, and even a 140 lb tortoise, many of them rescues. "Stayed for a few nights of wine tasting and golf. Location was perfect, walk to many places with wine tasting & walked to dinners every night. Lots of cute shops for clothes and souvenirs. Great golf course close by - unit was clean, fully equipped and perfect for 2 couples, especially since there were 2 primary suites - one upstairs and one downstairs. Lovely patio for evening cocktails. Would highly recommend. "

"Secluded, quiet, beautiful 2 bedroom former equestrian tack barn in a grove of avocado trees. Perfect for us. Very simple. Close to everything, but no road noise. Beautiful view of the hills and ocean. "
