It is just a short walk (150yds or 2 minute walk) to the semiprivate beach access. But if you would rather drive, there are 2 beach accesses with parking east and west of the Legends.
Unit #301 is directly over the pool in the building closest to the boardwalk. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the master suite balcony or the living room deck. Experience the convenience of overlooking the pool/hot tub and covered parking directly underneath. Unit #301 has granite throughout, stainless appliances, and fully updated.
Spacious kitchen, living room, and bedrooms with separate laundry room. The master suite has a king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full size beds. Enjoy free WIFI for your convenience.
If you're looking to exercise, there is a private tennis court and sand volleyball on the property. Enjoy the paved bike paths on scenic 30A. Keep the golfers entertained with the many golf courses including Santa Rosa Golf Club less than a mile away. Destin is just five minutes away with Silver Sands Outlet Mall, restaurants, and entertainment. Just one block away, take advantage of the free summer concerts, boutiques, and ice cream parlor at Gulf Place.

We have stayed in this area for several years now and love it. We found that The Lazy Lobster condo had everything we needed while being a block from the beach. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful condo.

2nd Time even better
This was our second stay at the Lazy Lobster, we really enjoyed it once again and will certainly be back again. The recent upgrades were just right for that beachy feel. The easy access to the beach is definately a plus. We brought our beach gear and were lucky enough to have great weather for our stay. We will definately be back hopefully not so long until next time.

Great location with restaurants close by
Turned out to be a great booking after Hurricane Sally cancelled our original booking at another location in FL for a next day arrival. Beach access right across 30A and very convenient. Restaurants and bars within a short walk. Easy bike ride to Grayton as well. We would stay here again if we decide to come back to Blue Mt. Beach !

Wonderful location!
We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Lobster. The location was amazing. Close enough to walk to the attractions, but just distant enough to have a buffer from the business. The until does have several flights of stairs, but that was not an issue for us. The main patio is one big patio among all the units but we didn’t have any immediate neighbors during our stay. Would stay there again in the future.

Spacious, clean and comfortable townhome
Very clean. Adjacent to pool, volleyball and tennis. Easy 2 minute walk to beach. Loved the ability to park underneath and walk right-in. No elevator hassle or crowds. Would certainly stay again. Very responsive owner, easy to deal with.

Wonderful Location
The Lazy Lobster was everything it said in its description. The place was clean, close to the beach and local restaurants. The only issue we had was the sensor light where you park is not working, and the tree needs to be trimmed so you can see the unit #. Those minor issues will not stop us from recommending this place to our friends and family. We will definitely stay at The Lazy Lobster again.

Perfect for a family getaway!
What a wonderful trip to beautiful 30-A! The Lazy Lobster is just perfect for a small family. We have three kids (3, 5, and 7) and getting to the beach and back was a nice stroll for us all. Not far at all. The kitchen had all we need for making breakfast and a few meals at the townhouse. There were also a few puzzles stashed away that my boys loved doing while their sister napped. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lazy Lobster is always my go-to
I have been to this condo every time I visit Santa Rosa and it always meets my needs. Never had a problem with cleaning, the owner is always very responsive and quick, and it is the cutest place with a great view. I always look forward to visiting Santa Rosa and staying in the Lazy Lobster. My kids love the pool directly in front and I have a great view to keep an eye on them. The beach is located very close and I love not hearing my kids complain about a long walk :). The Lazy Lobster is always my go-to spot in Santa Rosa and I am thankful my family and I have a reliable place to stay when visiting.

Our go-to vacation spot
We have rented The Lazy Lobster several times and keep coming back! It is a gorgeous place that is well maintained and stocked with linens, bath towel and kitchen necessities! We really enjoy the easy access to the tennis courts as well as the pool being just steps down from our main deck. And the five minute walk to the beautiful beach is a piece of cake for us and our five kids. We can also walk to local restaurants and to grab ice cream as the location is perfect. The owner, Jennifer, is quick to respond and easy to work with! We will be back soon!

Our overall opinion is good. I think a touch up of paint and an update of some furniture would change our opinion to excellent. One thing I think should be mentioned also in the description is the two flights of stairs. It did make the townhome feel much larger but could be troublesome for an elderly person. We loved the location and is very close to the beach. We also loved the covered parking, the tennis courts and pools. Did ask for a new iron that was broke on day one and didn't get it replaced.

Lazy Lobster is great!!
My sister and our hubbies stayed here and last year as well. Everything was great. This is our second time at the Lazy Lobster and everything was perfect. It’s a beautiful condo/townhouse. It’s a corner unit so that’s so nice. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the covered front deck overlooking the pools and palm trees were lovely to look at. Love the two pools and hot tub and the beach is just a short walk. We will be back I’m sure!! Santa Rosa Beach is beautiful and we’d love to retire to this area.
P.S. in the master bedroom the tv wasn’t getting the cable wasn’t working but you could access the other apps so it was fine. Just letting the hostess know in case there’s an issue. Great place tho to stay!!

Great location and perfect for our family!
Location was absolutely perfect! Very short walk to beach (access is right across the street) and right above the pool. There are two balconies that you can hear the waves in the morning and night (one shared and a private in the third floor). Very clean and nice furnishings. Parking is VERY convenient in private carport. Even though it is a condo, it is more of a townhouse. There is no one on top or below and very quiet and private! The only thing I could say could use some improvement is there are no extra amenities. In other VRBO listings we have used (6 total over the years) they usually include beach towels, beach chairs, pool/beach toys. The kitchen dishes, etc were very adequate. The toilet paper wasn’t full rolls and was the really cheap stuff so we had to go buy more immediately. There wasn’t a hairdryer. All stuff that we totally worked around, but they were nice bonuses at our other listings. Just pack everything you might need. Highly, highly recommend for families! We will definitely book again!!

Pleasantly surprised!!
Came down for the week of July 4th. Arrived an hour early as Lori and her husband were just finishing cleaning and was able to check in a little early. The place was immaculate!! It must have taken them hours and hours because the condo was spotless!! I love that we park under the condo so that the car was always shaded and there was plenty of room to lock up our bikes.There is a bike rental just 30 yards down the street. The condo is decorated beautifully and is quite spacious! All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are large and it was quite nice to not have to share a sink with my husband!! Kitchen has everything you need and I loved the full size washer/dryer so I could throw damp towels in at end of day! This condo is perfect location as it is a corner unit and we didn't have any traffic walking past our sliding doors on the shared 2nd floor balcony. It is also in the building closest to the beach. I prefer to stay on the beach, but this truly was second best! It is a very short walk on a private access road. Probably 100 yards at best! And we do spend everyday at the beach!! I was so pleased with the location of this condo in relation to the restaurants and shopping. It was literally a 5 minute walk to Gulfplace on one side and a five minute walk to our favorite restaurant The Local in the other direction. Excellent seafood all around. Also, Goatfeathers restaurant and seafood market was a minute walk away. The market steams gulf fresh shrimp with bay seasoning and has the most delicious smoked tuna dip! That was lunch daily!! Would definitely come back to Santa Rosa and would stay here again!!! Also, Seaside is a 5.2 mile bike ride from condo and totally worth an afternoon!!

New in 2015, Tired in 2017
Our family rented the Lazy Lobster over Spring Break 2017. I noticed when I read previous reviews that the most recent one was posted in 2015, so an updated review is probably in order. It seems the title description, "New Granite/Appliances/Sofas" may need a partial update as well.
Although the granite still looked new and the appliances are in good shape, the sofas and bed quilts pictured above are dirty and stained. The sofa that pulls out to a bed is in especially poor shape. Unfortunately, there is a pronounced sag in the cushions when folded up, and at least a six inch drop from the foot of the sofa bed to the head when it is pulled out. Perhaps, something is broken. We could not use it for sleeping and had our child sleep on an air mattress we brought instead. The bed quilts were very dirty, which has a clear explanation as to why. The checkout instructions specifically say NOT to strip the blankets or quilts from the beds for washing, or you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. I would have happily paid the additional fee to have that done prior to our arrival. The state of the bedding, along with the many stains on the couch, made the overall feeling of the condo dirty. As such, we spent the first hour of our vacation cleaning.
Although the next paragraph turns out to be quite a funny story, it speaks to the overall state of the unit. On our first night in the condo, my husband went to take a shower in the master bathroom, closing the bedroom door behind him. Following his shower, he could not open the bedroom door from the inside, and I, on the outside, could not open it either. Thankfully, we had some tools in our car, because I had to take the doorknob off the door! After passing my husband a few tools back and forth under the door, we still could not get the door latch to open. Finally, my husband resorted to taking the door off the hinges! Turns out the doorknob was broken. We were laughing at are situation at that point, but it is still rather disappointing that the condo has been used so hard without upkeep.
On the positive, the owner was very responsive. We texted her the next morning about the door and the seven or so light bulbs that were out. She had a repairman there by the afternoon.
The area is beautiful, and the location was just right for us. We will be back to Santa Rosa Beach again, however, not to this unit. We will look for something with more recent reviews and a hefty cleaning fee. It would have been worth it!

Just the way it should be
We had a great time staying at the lazy lobster. We had everything we needed and everything went smooth. The condo was spacious and clean. My family made great memories here. Loved having the corner unit and the pool just off the back deck. Of course the ocean just across the street didn’t hurt either. Definitely recommend

Great Spot!
We had a great stay! Pool and hot tub were very close, and so is the beach access! when I reached out to owner for information I got immediate replies. We would rent again.
