With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, a newly renovated kitchen, and a sprawling deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, you and your family will be in beach heaven.

This cozy beach home sleeps 11, and features 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 set of full bunks, and a daybed, so everyone enjoys a peaceful night’s sleep. After the sun comes up, and you’ve enjoyed your morning cup of joe on the deck overlooking the gulf, you’ll be ready to hit one of the world’s most beautiful beaches for fun in the sun.

As the sun begins to fade, and the moon takes its place, you’ll experience the picturesque sunsets that have made the gulf coast famous. Dinner is your next big decision of the day. Do you gather the family around the large kitchen island for fresh, homemade fish tacos, or meander the 2-minute walk to Stinky’s Fish Camp for the legendary Oyster Log and Crawfish Pie? Decisions, decisions . . .

Pleased with house and location

We truly enjoyed our stay and fell in love with the location of the house. We loved waking up and having coffee on the deck watching the waves! As older vacationers it was nice to be so close to the water! The house was perfect and the area was very safe! Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you so much!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was not very clean. Furniture in bad shape as well as matresses. Vent to house was filthy. Not soap for dishes. The house is in a perfect location. Beautiful beach.

Great Stay

This was a great stay, perfectly accommodating eight women. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, right on the beach and great location. Check-in was a little strange in that we were not given the exact address until the cleaning service was done the day of our arrival. Also...would've been nice to have TV instructions. If we had Netflix or any other streaming service, we never figured out. Other than that, we loved our week at Greenwave and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great week at Dune Allen beach!

The home is very comfortable and other than a few things ( broken lamp and bathroom plug not working both ehoch were not a big deal to us) I think house is a good value Yo be on the beach. The only negative to the home is the deck stairs and deck. Its Very worn ( dont bring little ones unless you carry them , splinters galore! and stairs feel they could fall off each time you walk up them. ) if that part was corrected the house would be rated an A as it is Now i give it a B. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Great spring break getaway

The house was clean, in proper working order and well maintained with one exception. The stairs/decking had been partially replaced - the part that had not been replaced including the stairs and hand railing leading from the back porch is old and in need of full replacement. The wood easily splinters and the hand railing was wobbly so it was difficult to use the railing without injury. I strongly recommend full replacement of all decking and stairs to ensure proper safety of guests.

Location can’t be beat but communication can

We absolutely loved the location of this property and the private beach in your backyard is a dream. Where our experience fell short was in communication and amenities. Upon arrival, we ordered groceries for our week including a large pack of Keurig coffee cups as there was a Keurig coffee machine. When we realized it was missing a piece and wouldn’t work, we were told to “just use the regular coffee pot”. That’s would be fine had we not already spent $40 on coffee that we couldn’t use. Also, the checkout instructions are inconsistent. The papers in the house have instructions with a 10am check out time and request keys be left in the home while the email instructions say 9am and they need to be dropped off at an office. With some better communication/ support this place would be a 5/5!

Beautiful beach

Very good experience. Loved the deck and layout of the house. Had to go to a different place first night due to fire two doors down, but they found us a great place just around the corner for one night then we were able to get in the beach house. Appreciated the great effort to satisfy us the first day.

Great view, but very outdated interior, and many things are run down.

Arrived and immediately noticed the AC did not work. Dune Allen realty quickly sent a repair man. Had to replace major parts, took almost 4 hrs to fix and replace. The floors in living room had floor joists sticking up in many places. The linoleum floor had folds, humps and places that were wadded up like a blanket. Even our kids immediately noticed the condition of many things. Broken shelves in refrigerator, ice machine would sporatically quit working. There were pictures on the site that showed photos from 1995 that showed all the interior decor was the exact same as today. Dozens of places in the house had places where paint and sheetrock were missing or flaked away. The interior needed to be painted 10yrs ago. The deck outside had a great view but was in serious need of repair. Screws stuck out multiple places, rails were loose, front staircase on ocean side leaned and did not appear very safe. Not even sure it would pass a code inspection. It was probably great 20 yrs ago, but the disrepair was very noticeable, and a hazard for 4 children walking around and barefooted. If u rent this house be sure to bring chairs for ocean side porch. The table on front porch was falling apart. We really feel the pictures dont depict the true nature of the disrepair of this house. It was probably a great location 25 yrs ago, but not much has been done to take care of it since then. We love santa rosa beach, come here at least 2x a year. Especially Dune Allen area. Just feel especially for the price, Greenwave needs some serious TLC. On a positive note, Dune Allen Realty was quick to assist us in fixing the AC. They were very friendly and helpful. Without some exterior and interior work, I would not reccommend this house. There are many on Dune Allen Beach that were in alot better shape.

Greenwave is perfect. Right on the sand. It’s truly relaxing!

The perfect place to go with family. The white sand during the day and the stars at night. Away from the Destin and Seaside traffic but close enough to go to both if you want. Lots of cool places to go for fun like Elmo’s and Stinky’s. You can also stay in. Great kitchen. Lots of cookware and an ice maker!! I’ve been going to this area for 40 years. This is my favorite house so far for being on the beach with that original feel of the area.

Great location

Overall we had a great stay. The house(camp) is older. The kitchen and two bathrooms have been updated. The location is perfect! 50 steps to the water from the house. The building is raised on stilts and does shake/sway when people walk. My mom gets motion sick easily and had to take Dramamine. The wooden steps are in need of repair. Nails sticking up and unstable. Great parking. No elevators or crowds to deal with is a positive!

Excellent home

The house was everything we wanted for our family trip! Being able to be just steps from the beach was our priority and having a full bath w/ each bedroom. The house was very clean and updated as well as comfortable beds. The only thing that would have been nice to have was some cleaning products. I suggest future renters, if possible, bring some from home and basic spices. Most house I have rented in the past, had cleaning products either from the owner or from previous renters. Not that big of a deal, but just convenient. All in all it was a fantastic trip and will definitely rent the house again!!

Fantastic!!

This property had everything we could wish for. There were three couples sharing the house for a week and each of us gives Greenwave a five star rating. The view is ideal.. magical really.....right on the Gulf and quite private because of the location on Santa Rosa Beach AND particularly on Ft Panic Lane instead of 30A. The beds were very comfortable, the furniture just right for us, except for perhaps more deck chairs( which would add so much to the comfort for a group like ours). The kitchen is well-stocked and had pans and dishes and tools for our every desire. We would ALL return to Greenwave in a heartbeat‼️‼️

Peaceful, Quiet, and Relaxing!!

Great place to stay, and right on the beach. Wonderful place and had all of the amenities. Highly recommend reading the beach code enforcement policy. We failed to read that, and all of our beach chairs and volleyball net were picked up and discarded by the beach code enforcement. It was our fault, but was a bummer. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and highly recommend if you want to stay away from all of the hustle and bustle of tourists, have a nice quiet spot on a private beach, but still be close enough to shopping and eateries. AAA+++

Perfect spot for us

We loved our stay at Greenwave. What more could you want then the beach, the views, and the gulf? This house has everything our group needed. We love cooking fresh seafood in, and this house had everything we needed to make amazing meals. We love the location and bike almost everywhere when we're not enjoying the beach. The people at Dune Allen took great care of us, which is always an added bonus on a vacation. Can't wait until next time.

Well equipped beachfront home

We had family gather at this beachfront home for the holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped. Anything a cook could want was provided. The mattresses are very comfortable and appear to be pretty new. It was great to sit on the large deck and enjoy the sunset. We would rent Greenwave again
