Drive A Little! Save A Lot! Secluded cottage near the bay and beaches of 30

This cozy and peaceful cottage is located off of Hwy 393 just around the corner from Cessna Landing, a free public park complete with a 2 lane concrete boat ramp, a sandy beach area, bathrooms, a playground, basketball courts, covered picnic tables, grills and a fishing dock. Bring your boat along and enjoy fishing or sailing in the Hogtown Bayou. The location of the cottage is away from the tourist and traffic but close enough to enjoy the Emerald Coast. You will be 5-15 minutes to everything the emerald coast has to offer! This quaint cottage is a 750 square foot Katrina Cottage equipped with 2 bedroom(1 queen bed and 1 twin bed with twin trundle bed), 1 bath that sleeps 4 comfortably and a cot bed that could sleep 1 if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker, cooking dishes, pot and pans, and everything you will need for your stay. There is a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board in the hall area. The cottage is stocked with beach towels, 3 kayaks, 1 wave kayak, a large outdoor Jenga set and everything you will need for your beach or bay experience. An outdoor fire pit area is surrounded by lights creating the perfect atmosphere for grilling on the Weber grill. All you need to bring is your bathing suit and flip flops to enjoy the Emerald Coast!

Location: 336 East Nursery Road in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. On the bay side of 98. You will be 4 miles from Dune Allen/Blue Mountain beach which is straight down the street from the cottage. 9 miles from Grayton Beach which is our favorite if you have kids and 10 miles from Seaside/Watercolor area. If you wish to go into to Sandestin area, you will be 14 miles away.

Stay at cottage

We rented this cottage for a quick weekend to Santa Rosa Beach for a wedding. Convenient location and only about a 10 minute drive to the beach, if you were going to go. Check in process was easy

Cute Cottage in the Woods

Cute little cottage in a lovely wooded setting away from the beach. We loved absolutely everything (except the bed was uncomfortable). The outdoor space with lights and fire pit was to die for. It’s within 10-15 minutes to everything you’d want to see and do. Replace that mattress, and we will for sure be back!

Spend the extra money

House had a bad electrical problem couldn’t run the air conditioners without the breaker popping. Big inconvenience couldn’t sleep through the night . Also had a roach problem. We had some issues with our vehicle and when we asked the property manager if we could stay one more night till I fixed the issue she denied us because she had scheduled the maid already . I would’ve rather spent the extra money to be in a nicer area .

Cute little place

This place is tucked away from all the traffic and noise of destin. We have never been to this part of Florida but was quickly glad we were staying where we were. There was alot of little beaches around the cottage so we didn't have to drive back to destin. It was equipped with really everything we needed. My daughter especially enjoyed the kids room that had a tv with a bunch of kids vhs tapes to watch. The master bedroom bed was uncomfortable we took turns sleeping on the couch but other than that it was nice. There was a bunch of beach toys, chairs and umbrella there to use. We didn't use them tho as we brought our own but thought it was nice they were there. Had a firepit and grill which we also didn't use the mosquitoes were horrible but would've liked to.

Great vacation spot!

We stayed for two nights and visited Dune Allen Beach and Grayton Beach. Loved the house and it’s location. Kayla was extremely nice and the property has been well cared for!

This little beach cottage in the woods was perfect for our trip to Florida for a family wedding. We wished we had more free time to enjoy all the things our host provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Get Away

Everything was comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy. To be small, this place is well organized and stocked with everything we needed! The decor is so cute!! Driving to the beach was a quick 10 minutes. Grocery store was 10 minutes. We had a great time and would love to come back. Thanks so much!! The realtor did come by the morning we were to leave about 9:30, but I was gone to my grandson’s soccer game. My sister let her do a walk through, but aside from her unexpected visit before we checked out, we were very satisfied. Thanks for sharing your place with those of us that Love the beach!!

Recent stay

Bathroom door did not lock had a fire extinguisher there to hold it shut. A/c and heat did not work well. No ceiling fans in bedrooms. It was okay for this time of year.

We had a wonderful time here. [Constant rain meant we could not use outdoor activity center--and we never found the garbage can so with the rain, we just left or trash bag wrapped up inside]. The location is not near the beach, but we came for a conference, and the host was wonderful. Thank you!

Perfect Getaway!

Our visit was cut short due to Hurricane Michael. During the little time we had, it was clear that Kayla had the cottage stocked for a care free family get away. There was plenty of room and activities available for home entertainment as well as lots of info for tourism. The home was full of amenities for the kids and adults including beach gear, life jackets, kayaks, etc. The outside oasis was wonderfully set up for relaxation and space for the kids to play freely. The pictures do not do this home justice. Bay Blessed is a must see. We can't wait til our next getaway there!
