Located in the highly desirable gated Pajaro Dunes resort, this modern 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo is just yards from the beach. Nested in the dunes for added privacy with a peak of the ocean from deck.

This ground level unit is fully equipped and sleeps 6 comfortably with NEW beds in both bedrooms.

Recently remodeled with all the modern conveniences including solid surface countertops, modern kitchen with new stove, and recently remodeled bathroom fixtures.

Not only is the sand dunes and beach just outside the patio, but renters can enjoy all the amenities of the Pajaro Dunes resort including pickleball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, biking trails, basketball court, natural lagoon with native birds and cozy fire pits located on the beach.

Pajaro Dunes is a mile and a half of sun-drenched, white sand beach on a secluded strip of the magnificent Monterey Bay coastline.

Need a break from the sand? Just hop in the car and within 30 minutes you can be in beautiful Monterey to the south or historic Santa Cruz to the north.

Property is great! Private, secure and close to the beach. However, there are no longer fire pits on the beach. Easily accessible. The road to the property is very rough. Definitely felt like a "home." All purpose cleaner available would have been nice.

On vacation for the weekend to Monterey Bay Aquarium for our 19 year olds birthday. Decided to try out the VRBO experience. This was perfect for our short weekend! Seriously only steps from the beach! Great communication with the owners as well. The kitchen has every utensils/ pots / pans you could need to cook while you’re here. We loved our stay, and would totally stay hereagain!

We rented the condo for my husband’s birthday. It slept our family of 4, and my in- laws comfortably. It was well equipped and very clean and the beds are very very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave!

This condo and the Pajaro Dunes resort are great. You are right by the beach and it's truely less than a 5 minute stroll from the door to having your feet in the ocean.This location is also close enough to Santa Cruz to the north and Monterey to the south for an easy day trip.I would stay here again any time.

Nestled among Watsonville agricultural fields is a quiet ocean resort. A short walk from the complex takes you directly to the beach. Prime location, approx 30 minutes to Santa Cruz or Monterey. Nice condo and host.

Enjoyed our stay at Pajaro Dunes. Comfortable and nicely equipped kitchen. Cozy beds. Host was very responsive when we had a breaker shut off. Outdoor shower outside our unit was not working which was a little difficult to come back from beach but this was not owner’s fault. Would have been helpful to have a broom and dustpan in unit to manage sand. I would recommend this unit for 2 couples or small family.

We spent a day in Santa cruz, in pacific grove, in Monterey. Loved the 17 mile Drive and Pebble Beach. This unit was on the beach but no beach view. We found a great place for breakfast- the Beach Street Cafe in Watsonville.

Love this place! Neat, clean place within about 100 steps of the beach. It’s on the ground level and behind a sand dune so there is no view of the ocean but if you love your privacy, this is an ideal location. One serious issue, however, is the master bedroom shower. The water is extremely hot and the adjustment is the touchiest I’ve ever experienced in 70 years of showering. One could very easily get scalded.

My family really enjoyed our stay! We have 4 kids and there was enough space for all of us. Everything was clean and had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location was the best! It was so nice to open the sliding door and listen to the ocean and the beach was just steps away. We enjoyed a fire on the beach every night. The location is perfect; a half hour from Monterey and a half hour from Santa Cruz, but we honestly enjoyed the time at the VRBO the most. We plan to come back again soon. Highly recommended!

Being disabled i always have to make sure a location meets my needs before renting it. Listing states a walk in shower, no it is 14 inches step up to get in to the shower. The walk from parking to unit is a steep hill with wood railings that are loose and than quite a ways back after the hill. Outside both patio doors in the wood flooring is holes where the wood has rotted away, one has a mat over most of it the other has nothing. I tripped twice once hitting my side on bbq coming out the door and so did my grand daughter and she fell twisting her ankle and pain for 4 days. the wood around the patio is loose and moves when you sit on it. The couch is old and broke on one side leaning and coming apart and is hard as a rock. the recliners are old and dirty and reclining handle broke. we could not use bbq or fireplace because of high charge if we use them. Unit gives no amenities for the kitchen at all only what others have left behind. we were told by maid someone would bring TP and towels and no one ever came we had to go buy TP. the beach access is a steep hill also, pretty and close but not for a disabled person. the grounds are very pretty. There is no view at all from outside or in of the beach or water, dunes are to high. The TV has no cable provided only a roku if you want to add in your own info. It is a very high price to pay for what is given and the condition of the old furniture and old throw rug. Not for disabled and kids ankle still hurt pictures of area taken.

This was our third time staying at Pajaro Dunes, and the stay was as enjoyable as ever. This unit was clean, comfortable, and the owner was super responsive. Highly recommemd.

There were no towels only to find out these were still in the dryer. I ended up folding it for the owner. This should never happen esp after being charged an expensive daily cleaning fee. No one even came to clean the first day and yet we were still charged for each day! Didn't use the dishwasher since it had some kind of brownish (chocolate?) smear on the inside. Opened the window by the kitchen - it was all dust and dirt. Looks like it has never been cleaned for a very long time. The unit is just too old. Beddings smelled old, not fresh. Got itchy hopefully there were no bedbugs. We left the place as clean as when we arrived, if not cleaner. Wish we could get a refund at least for the cleaning fee. There was a power outage the whole morning of our last day. There was no generator. For the price paid, it would be better to just be in a hotel with fresh sheets and cleaner rooms. The view is all thick tall grass all throughout, kinda scary as there might be snakes hiding in it. Just wondering why this was left unattended and uncared for. You do not have a beach view at all because of this. Access to the beach was difficult due to the steep slope. That was not fun. We stayed there from May 28-30, not from the 27th.

Although being in the middle of nowhere, that's the point of a vacation so I had no issues with the location at all. Literally steps from the sand which is perfect! Other than the stove and fridge, the house was dated back to maybe the 90's which wasn't a huge deal and accommodated our family of 5 very well. I will say though the listing does NOT mention not having AC in the unit which wasn't a huge problem since we had unusually cold days (mid 60s) the whole week, however, if you're going in the summer higher than 75 degrees, this will likely be an issue for you. Also, there was a very strong aroma of a dead fish smell inside the unit. When we contacted the owner, they told us to open windows and spray something which I felt was an unacceptable response to this issue. This is a ground unit with people on 3 sides, the walls/ceiling were paper thin and we heard EVERYTHING. A lot of banging, music, people talking, furniture moving around, etc. This was only a big deal when it was really early in the morning or really late at night though. As far as grocery shopping, your best bet is FoodMaxx as it's more like regular grocery stores across the country. Loved having a Starbucks close by! We had a great relaxing vacation.
