"Very beautiful house and garden with very friendly hosts. We particularly appreciated the cooking class and Barbaras home made meals!The house had a well equipped kitchen were we could prepare meals. "DIfficult to fault anything about the villa or our time here. It is about 30 minutes drive South of Florence and somewhat less to the tramline if you want to avoid driving into the city. "Our family stayed here for a week, place is fantastic and we felt very at home. All facilities very good, in a lovely area with decent restaurants located nearby. Only slight negative is that it’s not the easiest place to access, this was discussed with the owner on checkout who appeared to take the feedback onboard which is an always a good sign. " I have done my research before booking my hotel in florence and nailed it with Calimala Hotel. Excellent hotel, perfect location (really, I came back like 3 times in one afternoon just to charge my phone or use the bathroom, it is that close from all the historical points of the city). My room wasn’t ready yet when I arrived, but it was before check in time. The room was very spacious, great shower, sheets and towels. Very good service before arrival, they made dinner reservations for me. Felt safe the whole time, because there are a lot of people around, its really in the center of the city. Also, the AC works really well, it was one of my worries but it was 36 celsius and the AC was doing the job. Calimala is the perfect choice, hope to come back soon! "
