Had to message the owner multiple times just to gain entry to the unit at the agreed upon time. Codes provided did not work and only way to communicate was through VRBO messaging. Not likely to stay there again."

"Peaceful, safe, and front parking space. Very clean. Small place but big enough for us 2 adults and a teen. It dont have a kitchen, it has a refri big enough to put drinks, fruits, and salads."

"The property was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Roomy and uncluttered. Everything we used in the house was in perfect working order. Property is easy to find. Quiet neighborhood. Close to many eating establishments and a large HEB. Nice family/property managers. Would definitely book this property again. Since location is in southeast Austin, guests like us who arrive from the south will miss a lot of the awful Austin drivers and traffic (where are you DPS troopers and Austin PD?) "This is a comfortable apartment well located in the fun town of San Marcos. Plenty of good restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped (only pod coffee maker...we prefer drip fwiw) overall. Laundry facilities a plus. Two small quibbles--hot water was a bit lacking for our group. Also the fridge could have been cleaner (easy for me to address). Reason for 3 stars on communication is just that when I emailed questions I received no replies. As it turned...

"It was a cute little cottage. We didn't think it was cleaned...and having little ones, its important. We pulled the futon out and were surprised by all the crumbs that were in the crease. Also the fans were full of dust and a lounge chair was tore. Instructions were out dated..or not for that cottage. They instructed to leave dishes in dishwasher but theres no dishwasher. Instructions did say there was a quiet time and having to wear wrist bands, and one parking spot per rental. We saw more...

"My husband I stayed for much needed get away. The cabin was EXACTLY as pictured and listed. Great directions to the property given and check out was a breeze. Property owner was amazing. Sweet and inviting. Property is tucked away in the woods. Plenty of deer to watch in early morning hours and evening. Privacy and seclusion was so relaxing. Short 8 min drive to downtown Wimberley for shopping and late romantic dinner. We WILL be back."

"If you are looking for a simple, no frills place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this place fits the bill. Bed was comfy, shower was great, bathroom was small but clean. No carpet in the room but the floors were clean. Our room actually had a small kitchen! Only downside is the elevator had a funky smell and hallway on the second floor smelled like spices. Otherwise the stay was great."
