  • Nossa casa vitoriana de 2 unidades e foi construída em 1906. A unidade inferior é um apartamento de 1 quarto completamente separado. Fizemos um trabalho extenso em casa e na terra. É um lote de tamanho duplo, então metade da terra é ajardinada com cascata e lago com peixes, mais de 15 variedades de plantas havaianas e polinésias e um amplo quintal. Observe que, devido à grave seca, descontinuamos a rega do gramado. É uma casa de 2 unidades, vivemos acima e Halekipa (a casa de hóspedes) está no primeiro nível. Nosso apartamento de 1 quarto possui pisos de madeira de bambu, carpete no quarto, lavadora e secadora em tamanho normal, aparelhos atualizados, cama queen size e sofá-cama na sala. Pode caber 4. Há travesseiros extras, cobertores, lençóis e toalhas para você também. Também temos algumas coisas para crianças (sacos de dormir para meninos e meninas e alguns jogos ... ainda contribuindo para isso. A casa está equipada com WIFI de alta velocidade e cabo T. V. (Astound) também. Esta propriedade também é conhecida como o Centro Cultural Havaiano Kaululehua. Você também notará um estúdio de dança e uma biblioteca no país. Uma vez por semana, há aulas (dança) e aulas mensais de artes / artesanato culturais (tecelagem e elaboração de leis). Nossa casa recebeu o prêmio de embelezamento do sul de São Francisco em 2011 pela casa mais bonita do sul de São Francisco!
    Estamos localizados no centro de San Francisco (SSF), todos os restaurantes estão a uma curta distância (Starbucks, Pete's, Subway, vários chineses e mexicanos, tailandeses, vietnamitas, coreanos, italianos, argentinos, americanos, japoneses e outros). Existem algumas mercearias, bebidas e drogarias a uma quadra. Alguns de nossos restaurantes favoritos: Para o café da manhã - Cable Car Café (nada sofisticado, apenas um café da manhã rápido e bom), Para o almoço - La Morena (os melhores nachos, tacos e pratos), Para o jantar - Izanami (grandes promoções, novidades) e atmosfera agradável. Se você nunca teve doces da See, a fábrica fica na mesma rua em que você pode pedir amostras ;-)
    Tudo o que você pode precisar está a cerca de 1,6 km (farmácias, lojas de departamento, restaurantes da rede etc.) A maioria das pessoas fica em nosso lugar visitando o site. Há 1 estacionamento designado para o nosso hóspede, mas se você não dirige um ônibus fica a 1 quarteirão, Trem (Cal. Train) fica a 4 quarteirões, Bart fica a 10 quarteirões. Tudo isso pode levá-lo a algum lugar interessante. O centro de São Francisco fica a cerca de 15 minutos de carro. Além de São Francisco, você deve reservar um tempo para explorar nossa costa, especialmente o centro de Pacifica, e cruzar a famosa rodovia 1 para visitar o centro de Half Moon Bay!

Very nice for many reasons

We enjoyed our two weeks here. Very safe, comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful outdoor area in which relax. Owners were great to work with, a friendly relationship not just business. Parking was included, a big deal. We like to explore by car. Would stay here again.

Excellent accommodations and hosts

My spouse and I enjoyed staying in Kawika’s spacious and very clean one bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen and in-unit laundry machines. Location is very convenient to retail and to freeways. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we appreciated the detailed check-in instructions and photos. Highly recommend!

Surpassed My Expectations

Wonderful experience staying here. The unit was equipped with everything one could possibly need. The hosts even provided a nice bottle of wine and a basket of fruit upon checking in. The location is very walkable to stores, coffee houses and restaurants and I felt safe. The included parking space is a huge asset. I arrived as a tenant and I left as a family member. I shall return.

Great location with responsive host

I stayed for 5 days for a work trip and just slept, showered, and made coffee at the apartment. Everything worked as expected. I really appreciated that there was already coffee, filters, and sugar available so I didn't need to run out and buy anything. The hosts were easy to get in touch with. The Apartment was bright and comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is very walkable with great restaurants and the train station nearby. My only minor suggestion is that it would've been nice to have an empty chest of drawers to unpack my clothes into during my trip.

South San Fran Gem

This place is great. The location is excellent. Short walk to Sign Hill, a great morning hike with even better views. Downtown restaurants are just on the other side of the block in front of the house. We walked to get breakfast and lunch several times. Super easy access to 101,280, and the Airport. Just down the road from El Camino Real. Supermarkets and shops are a very short drive away. The yard is very inviting. We had local friends over for a morning brunch and enjoyed it in the garden. Lots of seating options with great shade. This place is also very well stocked. We wanted for nothing. There was even a bottle of wine welcoming us for our stay. Thank you.

A bit of Hawai’i heaven in South San Francisco

When I looked out the windows it reminded me of living in Hawai’i. We totally enjoyed our stay in this hale. It has everything one needs - kitchen, laundry and comfortable bed. Also coffee, spices and pot, pans and utensils needed to cook. Although no need to cook because there are numerous restaurants nearby - Buon Guito and Thai Satay are two restaurants we enjoyed. Kawika responded to our questions quickly - when we were chilly he sent over another heater. It is in a location that makes travel easy to the airport or San Francisco - take BART to The City, then the ferry to Sausalito. We totally enjoyed our stay and want to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beautiful garden He ho’oponomaika’i is ka boho ma keia hale. (It is a blessing to stay in this house.) Hawaiian hideaway

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment and appreciated the cold water bottles waiting in the refrigerator and the coffee. The little bowl of snacks and bottle of wine were a nice touch, too, although we didn’t indulge. The gardens are lovely and the place is tucked in by the gardens. The week we stayed there was construction across the street during the weekdays so it was a bit loud at times. We came and went during the day so it didn’t bother us much. One the night there was a metal plate or something on the road that banged loudly every time a car drove over it. We couldn’t get the TV to work, seemed like the cable wasn’t hooked up. Only one night when we wanted to watch TV so not a big deal. The low flush toilet was a bit frustrating but it worked. Found two great places to eat close by for breakfast and Italian dinner. Very convenient and easy to drive to places in San Francisco. The parking spot was heaven as parking can be a challenge around town.

The five star reviews are not legit

This was my first time booking a vacation through vrbo and i regret it. I am not sure how the property can be listed as an A with cleanliness when we found dirty towels, toilet paper missing on day 1 upon arrival, toilet broken down next morning and we couldnt flush it and hours later i get the message it is fixed. The lock wasnt working, my kids were out at 9.30 in th night where the code wasnt workng and the owner didnt even pick our phone or answered our text despite being there ( he answered the helper person but not a tired mom with tired kids in the night). Please dont trust the reviews- they are all made up. The lake has dirty green water, not even circlauting or being changed and the window seal has insects trapped in it. Please make fun memories elsewhere and dont make the mistake I did.

Great weekend spot when visiting San Fran !!!!

Overall a really great experience and wonderful apt and hosts !!!! We were a little concerned about the location as we were going to see shows at Oracle Park and weren’t sure how far out of the “downtown” we were, but it turned out just right !!! We were able To take an Uber or the Cal Train very easily into downtown SF! The neighborhood is so cute and has lots of dining options within walking distance. A “bodega” , a great sandwich shop, liquor store, cafe for breakfast , options for dinner, really covers it all. If you want more elegant dining in the city it’s not too far at all. The apt is terrific. We had 2 adults for a few days and 3 for one night. We were all able to have our own bed ! One in the bedroom which has the picket doors for privacy, one on the sleeper sofa ( which is a bit short. So we put the sleep mat on top and it worked out perfectly ) the other had the air bed which was conveniently stored in the closet. ) We slept comfortably and then deflated the air bed and had plenty of room to eat at the dining table, make coffee, etc. It’s a very well appointed space with really everything you need. Coffee maker , French press, full size fridge, stover. Really awesome. The outside garden is lovely !!! You have full access to the whole space. Sit at the table, or on the love seat w your feet up, enjoy your coffee or cocktails. It was a really nice bonus to have outdoor space to enjoy. Very clean and the hosts were WONDERFUL !

Alley parking spot was a bit tricky but much appreciated. Carpets, floors, and behind furniture could use a good cleaning. Great amenities in the kitchen, was helpful to be able to prepare meals on site. Excellent communication from owners!

We had a great experience and extended our stay actually five extra days because it was such a great location and comfortable space we decided not to go into the city that it was better to just drive in the have all of our amenities it was a little cold to use the outdoor space but I’m sure when it’s nice out that is amazing plus

Quick visit to experience San Francisco

The apartment was very comfortable with excellent amenities for any type of visit. On site parking was a great feature. Once we figured out how to access bus or free shuttle to BART we were able to get into the city in about 45 minutes. We were able to visit many highlights of the city. The home owners were very accommodating and since we arrived during “Indian Summer” we also enjoyed the beautiful yard!! Bottled water, snacks and wine were a wonderful treat after a long day of travel detours due to fires. The neighborhood was fun, with lots of ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for our trip!

Enjoyed the Stay

The place had everything well stocked all the way down to a few snacks, sanitizers, masks, shampoos, etc. We had some questions for the Owner during our stay and the contact information was readily available on the frig. When we reached out, they answered promptly and were able to resolve it immediately. We would definitely book it again. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

My uncle and aunt from India stayed here. There was a hiccup in the WiFi during their stay but the owner was communicative and had it resolved quickly. Would recommend. Its a nice cosy place
