Only three blocks from the ocean, our elegant hideaway is your perfect San Diego beach retreat! The Pearl Palace is situated in the heart of the delightful and quirky Ocean Beach community. The Pearl Palace is a private residence that is connected to a flower shop and a local charming coffee shop called Tapshack. It is located in a busy area within walking distance to countless restaurants, beer and wine tasting rooms, yoga studios and shopping! Free parking for one car. Dog friendly!
This darling home has been redesigned with décor based on the iridescent colors of Mother of Pearl creating a timeless aesthetic.

This residence boasts a bright, modern, and impeccably clean interior with tasteful furnishings. Ideal for accommodating up to 4 guests. The open concept living area is bathed in natural light streaming through generous windows in every room. The Pearl Palace features a thoughtfully furnished living room, a breakfast bar, one large bedroom with a closet, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher. The spacious bathroom features a combination of a shower and bathtub, providing a soothing space to wash away your troubles.

The inviting living room has a supremely comfortable sofa from West Elm, complemented by carefully selected lighting options and a Roku smart tv. While seated, you might also catch a glimpse through the window of our concealed sea speakeasy! In the kitchen, you'll find all the necessary appliances, including a microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker compatible with both pods and grounds. Our spacious fridge is ready to accommodate all your groceries, allowing you to prepare a fantastic meal during your stay. For your convenience, we provide dish soap, dishwashing soap, and all the essential tools to easily clean up after creating a delightful meal.

To ensure your comfort, the wall furnaces will provide warmth during the winter, while a portable AC unit in the living room, ceiling fans, and refreshing ocean breezes keep you cool in the summer. The spacious bedroom features an incredibly comfortable queen bed with a Tempurpedic mattress, accompanied by a full-size closet. A convenient cell phone charging station is also at your disposal. For privacy and restful mornings, blackout curtains adorn every room. Additionally, two twin-sized rollaway beds are available for guests, and you're welcome to use our provided washer and dryer for laundry needs.

Out front you will enjoy the nice sized yard which is surrounded by a privacy fence. Sip wine under the market lights! Here we offer lounge chairs, beach chairs, boogie boards and a hard side cooler. The parking spot is located directly next to the house. We welcome your well-behaved furry friend and have a pet relief area in the front yard. We allow 2 dogs max and no cats or other animals. Just let us know you are bringing a dog so we can make sure to set out the water and food bowl. We even have a garden hose out front where you can wash off sandy pups after Dog Beach. Ocean Beach is a very pet friendly area!

Easy access parking for one vehicle is available directly next to the house. Guests will have access to the entire home including the front private yard. The backyard is our neighbor’s yard so we ask guests not to go out the back door of the house. There is washer or dryer available in the designated laundry room.

The Pearl Palace is situated in a bustling area along a vibrant thoroughfare and beneath a flight path, please note that planes take off between 6:30 am and 11:00 pm. To ensure your tranquility, we've thoughtfully provided earplugs, noise machines, air conditioning, and fans for your convenience in mitigating any potential noise disturbances.

The property is meticulously maintained, and the interior is professionally cleaned, disinfected, sanitized, and checked before each guest. Self-check-in is easy, and management is quickly accessible and available for questions and recommendations. We provide a welcome book for you which should answer most of your other questions. Check-in and check-out is simple; an email will be sent a few days before your arrival with detailed instructions. Unfortunately, due to high demand, turnover, and our standard of cleanliness, we are unable to provide late check-out.

Ocean Beach is a funky little unpretentious town, with colorful locals. It is the typical busy beach town. This is the perfect spot to experience a beautiful San Diego beach without any stress of having to drive around. It is a one of a kind, relaxed, non-touristy community. We are a 10-minute drive from San Diego International Airport and Sea World, 15 minutes from Downtown San Diego and the SD Zoo. You can find out about all our favorite places on our website which we will send to you upon booking. Our goals is to help you have as much fun in San Diego as we do!

Ocean Beach is a perfect place to stroll! Only three blocks to the beach or you can easily walk the 9 blocks down to Newport Ave which is the "downtown" area of OB. You can also rent a motorized scooter that you will see around OB. Uber and Lyft are convenient and can often pick you up within 3 minutes! There are also multiple bus lines within blocks of the rental.

Other things to note Parking - There is one parking space assigned for this home directly next to the house. Please only park in this designated spot. San Diego Airport is not far away and this location is on a very busy street and is in a flight path of planes taking off between 6:30 am -11 pm if you are a light sleeper we have earplugs, white noise machines, and fans provided for your convenience.
