Luxurious Home w/Hot Tub & Pool + Water Slide

Property Overview
This freshly painted (2025) tropical oasis is located in the Waterford Scripps Ranch community. The house has a large & inviting pool, a terrific slide for kids, a hot tub & a builtin BBQ. It's a perfect place for a family to relax & enjoy all that San Diego has to offer. It's a couple of miles from the lake w/ beautiful views, jogging, biking, canoeing, and more. It's centrally located in San Diego, <30 minutes from most things including downtown, the beaches, the Wild Animal Park & more.



This is a great home for a family get away. The waterside pool will provide endless hours of fun.

Parties and events are not permitted.



Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire house, other than a standalone 1 car garage. The two car garage will be available for guests.



Interaction with Guests
We're available and responsive via email, text and phone.

Please note, there are no keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay. We provide keys as well though, in case that's your preference!



Other details to note
The pool and spa do not have safety covers and are not surrounded by gates. Adults must ensure safety for their kids by always being present and attentive. As well, the fire pit is on the ground and not protected, so kids must be watched when it is in use.

The spa and pool can be reasonably heated. During colder months it is not guaranteed that the pool with heat up to desired temperatures.

The tub in the primary bathroom does not function but there are tubs in two other bathrooms.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. We picked this area because our oldest daughter lives nearby. Everything in the area was so convenient. The home was spacious and beautiful. The playroom and all the toys were a huge hit! We used the pool for a short time on our last day. The little kids had a blast. The home was very clean and well stocked. Great stay

This home is the nicest home my family has ever stayed in. It was an easy 20min drive into San Diego everyday and we even made the drive to Anaheim twice during the week. Great location, amazing pool, hot tub, and slide. My family had a fantastic week!

Perfect getaway

20-30 minutes to most tourist locations this little suburban gem had all the amenities to make for a special family vacation. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and the pool with slide and outdoor space was a huge hit for our family. Great communication with owners.

The property was wonderful for me and our four kids. The convenience of having so much space, toys, a playroom, a pack and play, a high chair and even a stroller in the garage made the trip so much easier. Overall fantastic experience!

This property was ideal for our stay. Location was perfect and the house had all the amenities of home. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen/pool area and my kids loved the hot tub and water slide. Everything was clean and the homeowner was friendly and prompt to respond. We will definitely reserve this home for our group for future stays in the area.

We found our home away from home! Beautiful house in a quiet and super safe neighborhood, not too far from grocery stores and amusement parks. Awesome pool with slide and spa, water floaties and toys, which we managed to use a few times during our stay. Patio dining set and patio lights added a nice touch for breakfast/dinner. We have a child with allergies so having a fully functional kitchen was awesome. And the washer/drier were great. Note that if the water upstairs stops at some point, it doesn't mean it will take a long time to fix. There is an auto shout-off system, and our host turned it back on in no time! Our hosts were super responsive and very helpful, and the welcome basket was a sweet touch. Thank you, Gary and Thien!

Excellent house and location

We had a lovely family get-together with multiple generations (teenager through geriatric). The house was perfect -- comfortable beds, a very functional kitchen, a great outdoor space with a gas grill, a pool with a slide (so much fun), and a hot tub built in. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The neighborhood was very nice and felt very safe. The property owner/ manager was very responsive and helpful. This is a great location -- while in a quiet neighborhood (there is some airplane noise during the day, but not really bothersome), also has convenient access to the downtown area and local attractions. Very convenient access to the highway and to shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Grandkids loved the pool

The pool with the slide and waterfall was definitely the big hit of the trip for our grandkids. The house itself was far more “worn” than the pictures indicated, which was off putting initially, but the house suited our needs well. Every bedroom had its own bathroom and our youngest grandson really enjoyed the playroom. The 8pm quiet time (including weekends in the summer) didn’t seem particularly reasonable and the rules regarding noise felt stressful but it’s in a beautiful neighborhood and we understood the concern given that not all vacation renters are respectful. The owners were incredibly responsive and gracious and we had an overall nice stay.

We brought all three generations of the family, and there was something for everyone waiting for us in beautiful La Jolla, CA! While the interior of the home catches your eye, the wonderfully constructed backyard will steal your heart. …from baby’s first swim to Grandma sliding into the pool, we made memories that’ll last a lifetime! Great Property

We came down to spend a few days in San Diego and used this property to stay. House is very nice and had more than enough space. Pool and spa in the backyard were great as well. Property managers were very responsive to questions and communication was great. Location had easy access to the Zoo and amusement parks. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Would recommend this property to anybody.

Excellent for Families

The property is located in a development very close to a main road and with easy highway access. The roads have excellent sidewalks and Lake Miramar is accessible either via car, via sidewalks, or trails. We arrived during the transition time in Spring, with a chill still in the air so did not want to enjoy the pool daily, however, when it did warm up a bit the pool area was loved by the children. The quiet hours conform perfectly to normal sleep/wake hours, so we were especially grateful for the quiet neighborhood in terms of the kids getting a good night's rest. The kids played a few rather loud games of tag and Marco Polo and never exceeded the allowed noise level, so please don't let the noise warning deter you from booking a family vacation with children!

Spring Break

The house was in a very nice subdivision. It had everything we needed for a fun vacation in San Diego. There was even a toy room for the kids to use. It was about 20-25 minutes away from the zoo, Sea World and the beach. We had a great time using the pool. My kids LOVED the water slide! We would definitely rent again :)
