Lakeview on the Rocks

You will enjoy the serenity of the villa which is located in a private cove on a hard surface road approximately 1/4 mile from the quaint village of San Antonio Palopo. It is a very secluded property with no "neighbors" on either side. To the east is the soft-flowing Parankaya River. To the west are undeveloped grounds which are also part of the villa grounds. The Villa is Absolutely Amazing. It is Paradise. Volcano Views!

The space

Lakeview on the Rocks is located on the waterfront of Lago de Atitlan, and offers stunning views of the San Lucas Toliman and Atitlan volcanoes and sunsets across the lake.

It is located as soon as you get to San Antonio Palopo, 20 minute drive from Panajachel.

This home is very spacious, comfortably accommodating families up to 7-9 people. The inside and outside of the house are well maintained with plenty of amenities for a very relaxing stay.

Sleeping:
- Upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and a dedicated workspace.
- Downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with a dedicated workspace.
- Master bedroom has a king-size bed with a living room area, a stunning view of the lake, and sliding glass doors to the patio.
- Each room has a full bathroom.
- Living room has a sofa bed that sleeps 2.

Social:
- New fully equipped open plan kitchen.
- Large dining/living room area alongside the kitchen counter with 4 stools.
- Inside dining table for 8 to 10.
- Patio with table & umbrella that seats 4 to 6.
- Lounge chairs and umbrellas on the private beach.
- Wood deck with direct access to the lake for swimming.
- Stairs leading directly to the private beach. Usually, boats can pick up guests in this area.
Guest access
* Direct access to the house from the main road.
* 3 car garage.
* 20 minute drive from Panajachel.
* Check-in time 2 PM - 7 PM (Must call for special arrangements if arriving after)
* Housekeeper (Victoriano) will be waiting for you to check in and will help you with your luggage.
* Check-out time 12 PM (Charges will be applied if more time is needed for check-out, this will be allowed ONLY if no guests are coming the same day).
* There are several steps from the parking to the house.
* It is not handicapped accessible.
* Wi-fi available.
* Cable TV.
* Cell phone reception is very stable.
* Locals are well known for their ceramics and their typical fabrics.
* Rodolfo, our manager, can arrange private water boat rides, kayaks, paddle boards, and tours. Keep in mind we are not responsible for outside services.
Other things to note
Victoriano, our housekeeper, and his family live on the property, behind the main house.

They are locals and they will help you with any needs during your stay.

They maintain the exteriors, trim the beautiful green areas and clean the surroundings of the property daily.

Victoriano is ready to assist you with any emergency or just a simple request.

Enjoy the help, but be kind and respectful. They are honest and hard working.

A tip upon your departure is appreciated by them, but please do so ONLY if you wish and are happy with the service.

* Access road (Pana/Santa Catarina/San Antonio) is narrow, not always in good shape, and with a poor lighting system.

Our home is SMOKE-FREE! Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside the house. You will be charged the entire deposit if you smoke inside your room or any shared spaces. We have a camera outside facing the lake for safety purposes.
