Your private getaway awaits you. Use the smart lock to the private entrance to the fully furnished 2bd/2bath unit w/full kitchen and living room. Grill with all your cooking accessories at the outdoors kitchen. Entertainment features 55-in Smart TVs w\ROKU & Fubo (Local and cable channels w/Showtime) in livingroom and both bedrooms. 200 Mbps high speed Wi-Fi access throughout. Well-lit desk for workspace. Guests will have separate private entrance to the room which includes private patio with bistro table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or a quiet evening after exploring the area during the day. An additional patio under the oak trees by the garden is available with an "OUTDOOR" kitchen. The private kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, spices, oil, pots, pans, cutting board, knives and cleaning supplies. Tri-County Meat Market is only 2 miles away and stocks most items for a full meal. For more assortment, HEB is only 7 miles away. Located within Fair Oaks Ranch, there are walking trails nearby and for Club Corp members, Fair Oaks Ranch Golf Club is located only 2.5 miles away.
Bedroom one features a king size bed with fresh linens. Bedroom two features a queen size bed with fresh linens. The bathrooms will be stocked with soap and shampoo/conditioner for guest use. Fresh towels and a hair dryer are also included.
The room is centrally located to many attractions including The Alamo/Downtown San Antonio (29.2 Miles) and the San Antonio Zoo (27.4 miles). Close by is Fiesta Texas (13.6 miles) and Sea World of San Antonio (27.5). For the golfers we are located near Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club and Cedar Creek Golf Course (13.7 miles). For the shoppers the Shops at La Cantera are only 14.8 miles away. Antiques abound in downtown Boerne (11.1 miles) and Fredericksburg (49.8 miles). Want to get outside and do some hiking? The city of Fair Oaks has several walking trails. Guadalupe State Park (14.9 miles), Enchanted Rock State Natural Area (67.5 miles) and Friedrich Wilderness Park (10.3 miles) are just a short drive away. In the mood for some great Texas entertainment? Head over to Luckenbach and get into a “Texas State of Mind” (42.5 miles). The Kendall Plantation wedding venue is just 5.9 miles away.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the very end! Roberta and Steve were incredible hosts, and the check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth. We arrived in town early, and the owners were so kind as to allow us to drop off our bags before we had to run and help our friends. Super quiet neighborhood and we highly recommend this beautiful property! Many thanks Roberta and Steve!

Basketball trip

We booked this unit in order to attend Basketball tourney in San Antonio. We flew in to Austin airport. This unit was very convenient to arrive in Austin and travel to San Antonio. The neighborhood was very nice. I would highly recommend this unit.

Our stay

We have family in the area, this was a great place to stay. Very quiet neighborhood. You just have to be able to go up a few stairs. I am 75 and had no problem with them.This was our second stay there, over a couple of years.

Great apartment

One of the nicest rental units we have stayed in. Very spacious, well maintained and very well stocked. House was hard to find at night (when we arrived), but easy during the day. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Previous reviews said the hosts were great to work with, but we never met them even once during our week long stay. That was a shame because there were a couple of very minor maintenance items that I would have been happy to take care of. One word of caution to anyone up in years or even slightly out of shape… pack lightly. Lots of stairs to get to the upstairs unit, which made heavy suitcases a bit of a challenge. Otherwise I highly recommend this comfortable VRBO rental.

Best place to stay

I have been using home rentals for my travels for probably 10 years and this was the best experience I have had. Lots of extra little special touches to make your stay more comfortable and special. The beds are very comfortable and nice bathrooms with soft towels and plenty of bath products. The kitchen area is small but efficient and has everything you need if you want to cook. Steve was around to answer our questions and he told us about a peaceful trail to hike that isn't on the State of Texas trails. The property is in a beautiful well maintained neighborhood and we even had a deer visit us during our stay. Close to Cascade Caverns and Cave Without a Name.

Beautiful

What a beautiful, peaceful home…clean and spacious! We were greeted by deer upon arrival. It was the perfect place for us (two couples in town for a wedding). Hosts were wonderful. Great communication and instructions. Overall, we were very pleased!

Perfect Hosts

This is our 3rd stay with Steve & Roberta. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The unit is spacious and super clean. Bathroom stocked with lots of towels. Lots of room to put away our belongings. The kitchen has everything we need. Thank you, Steve & Roberta, for the new Keurig and coffee pods that are just coffee! No flavors. Just the way we like it! I really can't think of anything they could do to make our stay any more convenient or pleasant.

Enjoyable stay and host

We selected this VRBO because we lived in the neighborhood for 6 years and it was close to our friends and our former golf club. The house is in a residential neighborhood. The owners have converted two areas of their home into VRBO units. One unit occupies an upper area of their home and the other, a lower area next to the garage. The owners occupy the remainder of the home. Each VRBO unit has a separate entrance and a small patio. The upper unit is a bit more private. The home is on a quiet cul de sac with very little traffic and a great neighborhood for walking. We rented the upper unit for a week while my husband played in a golf tournament. It was very clean and stocked better than most VRBOs; lots of towels, dish ware, water bottles in the fridge, condiments, spices, comfortable beds, pillows, etc. Steve even provided me with a Keurig coffee maker when I requested it. The owners were occupying the VRBO unit below us while remodeling their portion of the home. Because there were no other guests, Steve allowed me to park where I felt most comfortable. Steve was very accommodating, even allowing us to park a golf cart in the driveway overnight. Overall, it’s a well cared for VRBO that we wouldn’t hesitate booking again.

Golf Tournament at Fair Oaks Ranch

My friend and I played in a golf tournament at Fair Oaks Ranch CC and rented this fabulous place for two nights…I have used Vrbo several times and this was absolutely the best of them all! Just as described, well stocked, spotless and comfortable…best Wi-Fi, tv’s in all rooms…host was quick to respond positively to an early check in request, other than that we didn’t need to bother him as everything we might need was provided…plenty of towels, water in the fridge, and lots of deer and hummingbirds to enjoy off the deck…hated to leave…I wish they were all like this!

Great Stay for a Working Weekend

We have stayed here before and it never disappoints. It is spacious, even for two couples, and immaculately clean. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. And safe. It’s a working weekend for the four of us so we all really appreciate coming “ home” to share dinner and dominoes…and watch the wildlife. This time we were able to take pictures of a grey fox from our balcony! A big thank you to our hosts. We will be back!

My wife found this lovely spot and rented it for the weekend. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at. Was very quiet and just what we needed for the weekend. The owners were very nice and went above and beyond to be sure we were happy
