"Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews...

"What an amazing place to stay! The house is located right on the beach and part of a hotel property. They were still cleaning up from the hurricane storm but we could hardly tell. They went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of "

"This house has everything you need to enjoy the beach without the hassle of the beach. You can sit on the porch and breath in the ocean, or you can walk over the dune and be on the beach. There is an outdoor shower and 2 hoses so you can rinse off before either getting in the hot tub or going into the house. The house is spacious, has all you need to not have to eat out every meal. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this house and making memories. Highly recommend."

"We had a great time at this cottage. If you've never been to Nags Head/South Nags Head before, there is a road running parallel to the beach, and then some roads running perpindicular, with 3-6 houses. This is one of those types of "neighborhoods." So while you're not "beachfront," so to speak, you're not crossing a streat to go to the beach, just like the description says. For me, its' the best way to get the beach front experience in an affordable way. It was just a very short walk past one...

"Everything was smooth sailing from start to finish! Everything worked, and beach access was fantastic with 3 small children and a goldendoodle in tow. We’ve stayed here and the Kitty Hawk property 4 years ago, and both did not disappoint!!"

"The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We loved the fact that there was a pool and hot tub to swim when the surf was too rough to swim in. We plan on booking again next year. "

The house is very open so we could enjoy being all together at all times. There was plenty of beds for all, and the mattresses slept wonderfully. Communication with the host was exceptional.
