Come stay at our luxurious Bardominium featuring "The Mod". Saluda offers the best of a small town slow down!
"The Mod" is located on a secluded knoll overlooking a private wooded and pasture area. Decorated with a modern, industrial rustic feel for you to spend your cozy nights. In this tranquil setting you may have a Turkey wander near. Our large deck welcomes your entry as well as providing a great place for breakfast. Enjoy reading a book on the antique glider or enjoy a nap in the hammock. Your private area includes a grill and large fire pit area to enjoy the night stars. Enter through the modern style door to enjoy your full kitchen with cabinets, granite countertops & kitchen essentials. Enjoy breakfast on the peninsula island and then later dine at the small table with leather chairs overlooking the field The living area consist of a modern couch and recliner to enjoy your favorite TV show. A separate bedroom is decorated with a unique moss green headboard that lures you to enjoy a great book. The bathroom continues to reflect the rustic modern feel with custom tile work, towel warmer and bidet.
Our goal was to create a modern oasis with detail for you to enjoy on your vacation.
Saluda is home to the Green River Gamelands with great hiking trails, water falls & Kayaking (Pot Shoals Drop in within 5 minutes). The Gorge Zip-line is less than 3 miles away. Green River Cove Tubing provides a relaxing afternoon. Rock Creek Biking (home to Gravity MTB National Championships ) is in nearby Zirconia. So much to see and do or just enjoy staying at the Camp!
Downtown Saluda is within 5 minutes, Hendersonville 15 minutes and Asheville/Biltmore Estate is 36 miles away. Charlotte, Greenville, Spartanburg are just a short drive away. Need more outdoor adventure Brevard is only 30 miles away and the Tryon Equestrian Center is within 25 miles. Green River Narrows close by as well!

**The Barndominium has a second unit "The Loft" that might be rented at the same time. The Mod has its own entrance & own exterior amenities and no common walls.

The hosts were amazing. Communicated very well and were super helpful with things to do. The place was super clean and had fully stocked kitchen utensils and cookware. We grilled out in the firepit area most nights. The firewood stack was very helpful and we really enjoyed our time outside. This was a secluded spot with no other cabins, etc. near us. We really enjoyed our stay and would book with them again.

Was a perfect fall getaway place for 2. The place is new, modern and very clean. It is very private and on a pretty yard complete with a cute deck and fire pit with plenty of wood. Hosts were helpful and communicated points of interest and local businesses. We would recommend this place for sure

The space and accomodations were perfect for 2 people. Not too large and not too small. Everything was just the way it was described but it was more spacious than the pictures depicted. It was very clean and orderly and the facility appears to be very new. The outdoor area was exceptional with a spacious deck for two and a large firepit area with chairs as well as a grill. Parking was good and the driveway up to the property was relatively short and in good shape. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at The Mod! It was super clean, nicely furnished, and had some really cool decor. My wife's already planning kitchen upgrades at home. The chill country setting was perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

This quiet little mod is amazing! It has all the comforts of home with a small time feel. The amazing kitchen makes me want to stay longer! We enjoyed some downtime with a good movie and a cup of coffee with our special treats that the owners provided was amazing! Also we really enjoyed our Italian eatery “ the mezelluna Italian restaurant” just a few miles away in H edersonville! There was so much to see and do here in Saluda and nearby Hendersonville! I love this clean, perfectly located, and budget friendly! The place is brand new and makes me feel right at home! I will certainly be back!!!

Great hideaway

Very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully created unit that’s next to a modern barn near Saluda. There’s a nice desk to relax and have coffee and listen to the birds. Hosts were kind and accommodating. I would stay again.

Very nice little getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a great weekend while up there. The hosts are great people and replies right back with you. Very well supplied with stuff you need. Definitely recommend this place for a couple who just want to get away.

Relaxing Birthday Weekend

We were looking for a place to relax and this was the perfect place. This rental is well appointed, very clean, quiet and relaxing. Hosts are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Close to downtown Saluda where you will find some good eateries and an easy drive to downtown Greenville. This get away was just what we needed.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend 2024

This was our 3rd time staying here. Truly amazing! Just a short drive to downtown Saluda, Hendersonville, and Marked Tree Vineyard. Loved the quietness and fire out! Hosts were amazing too!

Cozy, secluded little gem

Everything about this little place was just perfect. Secluded and very private, surrounded by woods, it is located in an absolutely gorgeous area. The town of Saluda was just down the road. Inside, the design was very modern, cozy, spacious, and exceptionally clean. The kitchen area was huge, and was well stocked with all the necessities. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. The living room area includes a very comfortable couch, large screen tv, and a little dining area. Very quaint and cozy. WiFi and streaming apps were available too. The bed was also so comfortable it was hard not to sleep all day ! Definitely expect to get plenty of rest. Outside is a cozy porch area where we were able to sit and bask in the sun. Most notably, our hosts were very attentive and accommodating. They never intruded, but made sure to email and check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were very impressed by their kindness. They made this experience so effortless and enjoyable. We wish we could have thanked them personally. Overall , we felt we could not have found a better place to get away. It was the most comfortable and relaxing experience, and we hope to visit many times. We can’t stress enough how wonderful and clean and cozy this little gem is and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress free getaway with the one they love.

Cozy and Quiet Stay

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Mod! We were extremely impressed with everything about the entire property. We spent Thanksgiving around the fire and enjoyed cooking in the well equipped beautiful kitchen. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to communication. If you're on the fence, book this property! You won't regret it.

First of all the host are wonderful. Everything is as described, you feel like you are far away from everything, but actually close to everything. We had a much needed break for the weekend of relaxing. We will definitely be back❤️

The Mod at Camp Creek

This was our first Vrbo rental and if we could give over a 5 star review, we would. We stayed a week and it was apparent that the owners (Mike & Kasey) take great pride in their property. We highly recommend this place. It exceeded our expectations!!

Perfect mix of refined comfort and outdoor tranquility

The MOD is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed. The setting can’t be beat with a quiet, peaceful view of the woods and all the amenities needed to enjoy - fire pit, hammock, sun-filled patio with seating. And the interior offers the comforts and amenities of a luxury home in a cozy space. The hosts are attentive, responsive and ensured a wonderful stay. Can’t recommend this enough - a true gem.

The Mod was great!

Awesome place! Cozy and clean, secluded, yet close to downtown Saluda. We loved the porch, and the fire pit areas to enjoy the outdoors! The owners gave great instructions, and perfect recommendations for places to eat and visit. We would definitely recommend a stay at The Mod, and will probably go back someday ourselves!
