Honestly, this was probably one of the worst hotels have ever stayed in. Between the complete lack of service and a room without towels, a flushing toilet, or a shower that worked properly, It's safe to say that this place is a complete dive. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not stay here.!!

The worst lace we have ever stayed. Room was not clean by any standard. I had to go to the desk to get towels and cups. The smallest bar of soap you can imagine (size of a toonie), no shampoo. Big stains on hallway carpet, right outside our door. Ice machine not working. Holler info and swearing from the room across the hall. Ripped up garbage bags and dumped garbage on lawn at the back near the picnic table. Disgusting! Clerks were never at the desk, had to use a phone to ring them and wait up to 10 minutes. The health authority should inspect this place. Expedia should not have them on their listing.

Only one towel given and no facecloths or bath mat, no cups, and breakfast was offered as only old bread for toast and rotten apples . Out of coffee. We asked for more towels as. t 9pm they said in the dryer . We got two more but lady next door had none so offered her one . Her shower and toilet did not work so had to leave

There were no one at the front desk. Most disturbing to me was the Credit card Scanner was out in the open on the front desk, along with a lot of room keys that were left they by the Guest. Someone could have put a skimmer over the top of the reader and taken everyone credit card information. Our room had no coffee maker, no towels, and non-working TV, had to locate the front desk guy to get us some towels and get a HDMI cable and a TV remote. There were no breakfast provided. We asked and the guy made some coffee, and brought us some white bread, and milk.

This property has piles of trash all over the outdoor areas and parking lot, there was no towels provided in the room, no one at the front desk, there was olives sitting on the heater from a pizza from someone else. Coffee maker was broken, there was junk piled in the hallway, the laundry area for the workers was a pig sty, had to wait 15 minutes at the front desk. We paid prior to arriving so had to stay or lose the money. This hotel appears to have permanent residents living there. This hotel needs to be shut down.

Unfortunately our room was extremely filthy, food from the last guests in drawer and fridge, pillow case blood stained, no vacuuming no towels at all, dust build up in air conditioning unit, the gentleman at the reception was trying his best to be helpful but the place is definitely falling apart, we will never be back again. We received a refund but felt absolutely shocked at the state of this place that has so much potential.

The Hotel and room was filthy. Dirty carpet throughout. Our sheets had cigarette burns and blood on them. Cable didn’t work, everything was really disgusting.

We did not have the courage to stay at the hotel! Having been a loyal customer of Wyndham for many years and having stayed at several "by Wyndham" hotels, I have always appreciated the quality of service and care provided. However, that is not TRUE for Super 8 Salmon Arm. Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the condition of the hotel. The exterior presented open windows with broken curtains, air conditioning covers falling off, and overall a neglected appearance, even a pick up truck full of large garbage bags. Inside, the situation was even worse. The reception area resembled an abandoned space, with no staff present and only a sign instructing guests to call a number for assistance. The front desk itself was unkempt and dirty, with scattered papers and a lack of maintenance evident. We tried calling the number twice and gave up. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, contrary to the expectations one would have when staying at any hotel, regardless of its pricing tier. Cleanliness, safety, and basic amenities like a well-maintained reception area are fundamental aspects that every guest should expect and deserve. DO NOT STAY HERE! Read all the other reviews, I should have read before booking, my mistake!

Check in was a blunder. Walked into my room and there was another family. Got my new room and there were no towels, bathroom had a large wad of hair on the floor, breakfast was late and nothing but yogurt. Only good thing was the beds were comfy.

There was no one at the front desk. I called the Expedia agent to find the relocation team to cancel the reservation. But THE HOTEL CHARGED ME A 2-NIGHT FEE(yes, I only booked for one night). I am unsure what they will do with my credit card next, and I am still trying to get a contract with the Expedia team. Just don't choose this to prevent further issues. BTW, the hotel smelled bad, and everything there was terrible. That's what I saw in the lobby.

We visited the hotel 5 years ago and had a great stay. We visited again for 4 nights this past week and were totally dissapointed in just about everything. The room was ok, but dirty carpet, stained/dirty bed spread. One staff member on duty 24hrs a day! No house keeping done. Had to ask for clean towels daily. Garbage in the lobby was full and not emptied for 3 days! Breakfast was bread/toast with butter and or peanut butter, coffee, tea, oh yes and some bruised apples! Nothing else, not even jusice or yogurt. Needless to so we will not be back. I am very dissapointed that Xepidia still has this listed!

The bed was comfortable. The sheets had most likely been washed. Some of the furniture was broken, with a piece lying on the window sill. The TV didn't work. They advertised a free (Super Start) breakfast and had 2 slices of white bread and 4 of whole wheat in a box, and half a dozen apples in a plastic bag. Some 'unsavoury' people hanging around near the door. Met a friend who lives in town. He says everyone in Salmon Arm knows about nthe Super 8 there.

The room was not what was advertised… by a long shot!!! The place was very dirty in the hallway leading to the room (garbage, garbage bag /w garbage and janitor pail and mop in the hallway) for the entire time we stayed at the motel. In the room, the drawer front was missing on the desk, there were cigarette burns on the floor in the bathroom and in the desk even though the room was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The fire sprinkler in the bathroom had remnants of a plastic bag tied over it. There was dirt in the drawers (not sure if mouse droppings or just dirt … afraid to look too close). There were spots on the shower curtain that looked like blood. The two chairs in the room were filthy, one of which I refused to set on. The desk clerk was ignorant, rude (laughed at me and my wife when we lodged our complaint). There were no towels in the room, when I bought it to his attention, he said he would have them delivered but he never did. I went to the front desk ( approx. 4 hrs later, he handed me two towels (unfolded), I asked if that was all I get, he said yes. I asked for face cloths and hand towels and after asking twice, I finally received them (again unfolded). I advised him that I couldn’t get any channels on the tv. I went down to the front desk 3x about it and finally got him to come to the room. He changed the cable and told me to wait for the cable box to reboot and left. I could not get the tv to work. The place should be condemned!!!

WORST HOTEL STAY IVE EVER HAD!!!! There wasn't even staff on site for over 14 hours. Yep, your employees ditched paying customers. So so so messed up. No continental breakfast provided. The room was dirty, smelled awful. I literally had to clean my hotel room bathroom floor because if was so dirty. Absolutely the worst. And then when I called your staff out on a lack of anything. They told ME to "get the f*@k out" Awful. So so so awful.

I arrived earlier than check in time, fair enough. 12:00 , I arrived, check in time 3.pm I confirm my reservation for the king suite with jetted bath as confirmed on @Expedia I returned to the office at 17:00 pm. The manager said "it will be ready by 19:00 pm,here's a room in the meantime." .we returned at 20:00 pm..room is not :available???? I had booked on @ Expedia. I was offered a discount on another room ? I again wanted to know when my reservation was going to be fulfilled...21:00 pm The manager said, " we don't have any king sheets!" I wss offer a discount for another room ."fine "I said. 75$",for the room I was in,not happy yet tired. 07:40 am,we went for the breakfast that wss supposed to be included . That starts at 07:30. Not even started. 07:4/ check out. Manager still in the same clothes 19 hrs later, That has continues not been able to fulfill the obligations..charges me full rate for the room..not even @Expedia rate.He could do better " for cash "?@CRA. FYI. I never signed in as a guest..caution.!!!!

staff was not prompt to greet me, had to wait 5 minutes before someone showed up to check me in. Never checked my ID, never went over policies etc. Then sent me to a room that was already occupied. When i went to complain, they sent me to another empty room that looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There were stains on the floor, stains on the bedding, the toilet hadn't looked like it had gotten cleaned in days. There were no face cloths sent to our room, and when we went down to see if we could get some, we were informed that there were no clean face cloths in the hotel and then proceeded to offer us face cloths that had stains on them. On top of everything, there were some very sketchy people come in and out of the hotel. The lock on our hotel room was also ripped off the door, so we also felt very unsafe in the room.

There were no towels in our room when we arrived. Had to call twice to get them delivered. Room had an musty-old odor in it and was not cleaned very well. Still had hairs in the shower from the previous renter. No toiletries were provided except for small bars of soap. Not very satisfied with this stay. I would expect a higher level of satisfaction from Super 8, very disappointed.

Took almost an hour to find a hotel employee to check us into our room, apparently they were asleep in a room near the lobby. No breakfast food the next morning for the complimentary breakfast, not even coffee.

No towels in room had to ask for some. They had laundry room door open looked like a frat house garbage and dirty linen all over floor. Appeared to have escorts coming and going all night based on the exiting conversations that constantly awakened us front door open to public didnt need to scan in. no desk clerk present had to disl a number and took forever to get there . Staff were great. Facility was fine for just needing somewhere to sleep. Didnt bother with breakfast based on reviews. Main concern was safety. Numerous very sketchy men in the property that made me very uncomfortable. Druggies outside in the parking lot shouting and swearing so loudly at 3.30am. Sketchy men in the corridor, made me feel very uncomfortable. Poor sleep due to not feeling safe.

We booked this on Expedia. Knowing it’s a discounted hotel chain was the draw. Certain expectations come with booking with the chain Super 8. It’s fair to say none of those expectations were met. There was no one available at the front desk to talk to, or connect with by phone. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived. A person went to clean it, and was gone for approximately 10 minutes. When we entered the room, it smelled so strongly of cleaning solution, however elements of the room were not clean. We had bath towels but no hand towels or face cloths. There weren’t liners in the garbage cans. There was no shampoo. Thankfully the hot water was working. There was no breakfast in the morning, but we booked because of the free breakfast advertised. There was no one to speak to in the morning at the desk. We left our room keys in a basket, hoping we had checked out appropriately.
