"We arrived to the upper carriage house, where a nasty nauseous rotten meat smell filled the room. This was quite unexpected and unsettling. We could not use the refrigerator, as it smelled of rotten meat. We asked for a refund and were denied. We were not offered a partial refund. We were offered a complimentary night stay. "Pet friendly, parking, clean room , attentive host, beautiful location near the lake!!!!"

"It talks about a private entrance but it isn't because there are multiple rooms in the basement of this property that get rented out. I had hoped to have a private getaway and instead i was greated with a shared entrance and steep shared parking on gravel. Also, when you walk into get into the door there isn't an indicator as to which key box your code is for. The "doors" to each room/space is just a sliding glass door. Extremely revealing as we could see into both our rooms and others...

"This is a great place for a couple or a small family. We have two boys, ages 8 and 11 and we were comfortable with the amount of place we had. The unit is cute, well equipped and it has nice natural lighting. It is better in person than in the photos, so we were pleasantly surprised. The location is close to shopping and lots of places to eat on Woodstock. It is also a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Reed College. We would definitely stay here again the future."
