"My stay here after the refurbishment was such a surprise! The decor is lovely and has given me inspiration for my own home. The staff were the right amount of attentiveness, the food was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.
The room was fresh and new and I loved the design. The bed was comfortable and courtyard location was so quiet.
I am already looking for dates to book again! "

"We arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money...
"After reading reviews, I was a little unsure whether to book. However, I only need accommodation for one evening. I called the morning I was due to travel and was advised that there was a refurbished room available and although I was booking online I could add a note to request.
