This custom-built log cabin sits on over an acre of wooded landscape, delivering privacy, scenery, and a true sense of getting away—without sacrificing convenience.

The cabin sleeps up to six guests and features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private hot tub, two expansive decks, and inviting indoor living spaces anchored by a gas fireplace. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee overlooking the valley, soaking under the stars, or heading out for a day at Grindstone Lake or Ski Apache, Salty Pines is ideally positioned for year-round enjoyment.

Inside, the home is thoughtfully laid out across two levels. The main level includes the primary bedroom with en suite bath and deck access, along with the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Two downstairs guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed, large closets, Smart TVs and deck access
One guest bedroom includes a dedicated work-friendly space with desk, chair, and printer

Outdoor living is a highlight, with a main-level deck offering a private hot tub, grill, dining area, and ample seating, plus a covered lower deck surrounded by pines. Wildlife sightings are common, adding to the authentic mountain experience.

Located approximately 1.5 miles from Midtown Ruidoso and Grindstone Lake, and within easy driving distance of Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino, Ski Apache, and Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club, Salty Pines is well suited for families, couples, and small groups seeking a peaceful mountain escape with elevated comfort.
Welcome to Salty Pines. We kindly ask that all guests review and respect the following house rules to ensure a comfortable stay and compliance with Village of Ruidoso standards.

OCCUPANCY & CONDUCT
-Maximum occupancy: 6 guests
-No parties, events, or gatherings
-Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM Please be mindful that sound carries in mountain communities. Outdoor noise, music, and conversations must remain at a respectful level at all times.
-Children must NEVER be left unattended around decks or the hot tub

PARKING
- 3 vehicles max. No trailers, RVs, or campers permitted

PET POLICY
- Max of 2 PETS PERMITTED. Pets must never be left unattended or to roam the house or property. Ruidoso has a leash law for your pets safety and safety of others.
-Do not allow pets on furniture or bedding.
-Please clean up pet excrement. Poo bags are provided and located in the pantry. Do not allow pets to do their `business` on the back decks. A designated area is located on the east side of the house

SMOKING & FIRE SAFETY
-No smoking or vaping inside the home
-Outdoor smoking is permitted but subject to Fire Danger Restrictions. NEVER dispose of cigarettes or cigars on the ground, driveway, or off decks
-Fire tables are prohibited for short-term rentals in the Village of Ruidoso

HOME CARE
-Please do not bring food or colored beverages into bedrooms to protect linens
-Do not move furniture
-Hot tubs, fireplaces, and grills must be used responsibly and according to posted instructions
-Children must never use the hot tub without direct adult supervision

TRASH DISPOSAL
– IMPORTANT: We do not have curbside trash pickup. Guests are required to dispose of all food and trash prior to departure.
-All residents and guests must bag and take trash to the public beige dumpsters located along the roadways throughout Ruidoso. Failure to remove food and trash from the property may result in a minimum $150 disposal fee.

Failure to follow house rules may result in additional fees or removal from the property without refund
