"We loved the cabin. It technically has two bedrooms and that was great. Fully stocked bathroom and kitchen with everything but a steak!! So many games to choose from. They've thought of everything.....Beautiful all around. Quiet and peaceful. Loved having a pool table. About 30 min from Westckiff and partial dirt road. But all was worth it for us.Thank you for sharing your home with us! "

"Easy check in, nice hosts, good location with a few great hikes and the river close. We couldn’t get the WiFi to work but wasn’t a big deal for us as we just went across the street to laundry mat when we needed it. Will definitely rent again when back in area. "

Well equipped kitchen, the money saved on Dining and only needing one booking for the family covered the additional cost for this wonderful apartment. Perfect for families and friends that want to stay together. Good access for our aged family members also. Emily (Hostess) is delightful. "

"Super cute and recently built. Clean and comfortable. Stocked with coffee, which was nice. My only minor complaint is the wifi - it's a bit slow. Trying to stream a show last night and I had to restart the app (but only once - then things were fine). I would recommend this place and would stay here again!"

"Weekend stay as we wanted something in the area for our adventures. Booking and check-in was a breeze with clear and concise info leading up to our arrival. Home was clean, comfortable and quiet, and worked perfect for us and our blended group of 3 teens. You're about half hour from Royal Gorge Bridge, or about the same to the Cotopaxi General Store on the Arkansas. Not very secluded but quiet none the less and a good base camp for the area."

"This place is in a very quite part of Canon City. It's less than 5 minutes from Downtown. We enjoyed our stay in the cozy 2 bedroom home."

"We loved our stay at The Cañon House! My husband and I met our two daughters and their families in Cañon City for a weeklong vacation. We stayed at The Cañon House, while they stayed at a VRBO in town, five minutes away. In the mornings, our son-in-law picked us up, bringing the older children with him. They enjoyed a ride on the bicycles each day. The last day, I put dinner in the crockpot to cook while we were away, and we ate on the patio that evening. Each day, we saw deer. The house was...

"There was a break down in communication as to who was to give us the code for the door. I had to call the owner to get the code when we arrived.The Retreat was very well appointed. We liked the location within walking distance of the River Walk and the Train Station. We enjoyed our stay."

"The cabin was in great shape. The seating was just right; especially the reading area. The king bed provided a restful sleep. We spent time on the deck watching the hummingbirds and the occasional parade of wild turkeys through the meadow. We also took advantage of the nearby rainbow trail for hiking. Our stay was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Looking forward to a return visit."
