55 km to the east from Rovaniemi, lake Vanttausjärvi 20 m (length 6 km, width 2.5 km), shallow, artificially sanded beach, pier, rowing boat and outboard 5 hp. The outboard motor will be delivered with a full fuel tank and customer also returns the engine with full fuel tank (2-stroke engine).
The cabin lies under a steep hill, so a four-wheel drive car is recommended for those booking this cabin in the winter.
Round log cabin, built in 1980, renovated and modernized in 2021. Water pipe from the municipal network. Living room / kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, bedroom has folding door, loft with 2 beds, separate WC.
Lakeside sauna with shower in the sauna room, dressing area. The sauna has wood-burning sauna stove and underfloor heating.
Next to the sauna, there is a hot tub embedded in the terrace. The hot tub is heated by dieseloil. The hot tub is available in summer and in winter. Guests can heat the hot tub by themselves, but heating, draining and washing are also available from the owner at an additional cost (€ 150).
In connection with the lakeside sauna, there is a terrace with summer kitchen. The summer kitchen has a barbecue and terrace has a table for 6 people. In addition, closer to the lake is a separate campfire site. In windy weather or when the rain comes unexpectedly, there is also a covered cooking area with round log-built dining table for 4 people and a magnificent fireplace where you can fry sausages or even make blazed salmon.
