"Incredible view and communication with property owners make this stay a perfect weekend getaway. The lodge itself was clean, nicely spaced out for everyone to enjoy privacy or to come together for conversation on the deck overlooking the lake or the fire pit. The town is a few minutes away with an ice cream shop, hardware store and an outstanding grocery store with fresh cut meat available if you’re looking to grill/cook. Overall, I highly recommend this rental for a couples or family getaway. "

"It was the perfect home to unplug and unwind! We live in San Antonio and come to Michigan yearly to visit our family so we are always trying to stay away from the city life during our stays and electronics. Waking up with coffee in the morning on the back porch was so peaceful. The home was quiet and clean. We will definitely be reserving again next time! "

"The property was great. Lots of places to hike and explore. The lake was beautiful with crystal clear water. The bottom was sandy but due to the Lilly pads and weeds if you wanted to swim you need to get in at the end of the dock. Fishing was good with a lot of nice bass and a few northern pike 20-30 inches. There were 2 canoes 2 kayaks and a rowboat along with life vests. But be aware you may need to share because there are 2 other places to rent on the property. The Ranger house was well...

"This property was cozy and quaint and perfect for our needs to visit with family. It was perfectly pet friendly for our dog. The only setback was that the jacuzzi filter was not clean and some work had to go into cleaning it in order to use the jacuzzi. All in all we had a wonderful time at this quaint and cozy cottage."

"It was amazing I will b back in 2 weeks to stay longer however the storm messed up the aweining out on deck and the chairs blew off the deck but we're safe. We didn't get the lot number until an hour before the pool shut down but no big deal we know the lot number now so it was quite and peaceful we loved it "

"My friend and I stayed here in June. We brought our bikes to ride the Pierre Marquette Trail. We loved this rental and want to stay again! It’s very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The two bedrooms are good sized. We enjoyed the little backyard with the privacy fence and party lights. We were very satisfied with this rental! "

"Clean, cool and comfortable! Honestly can't recommend enoughl. The open floor space is great for socializing without feeling cramped. Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!...
