We loved our week-long stay in this apartment. We are a family of four with two teenage boys and we appreciated having room to spread out. The location is excellent just off of Campo de Fiori with the lively market, restaurants and bars. It was within walking distance of most sites we wanted to visit. There is good public transportation access nearby. Gabriel was an excellent host. He met us at the apartment and showed us around. He offered restaurant suggestions, and arranged an airport transport for us. The apartment was comfortable with all the amenities we needed to prepare meals and do laundry. We got a kick out of the balcony bathroom. It is quirky (I think Gabriel said it was the original restroom for the apartment), but it is not the main restroom. With four people in the apartment, we appreciated the second restroom. Three things to note: 1) there are 53 stairs from the street to the apartment. This didn’t bother us as we are accustomed to stairs, but be ready to climb. 2) you are at Campo de Fiori. There is street noise until the early morning. The windows were great at keeping the noise out, but be aware if you like sleeping with the windows open.3) there is a washing machine but no dryer. There were several drying racks available in the apartment. It rained most of the time we were there, so we set up a rack inside and it worked well. We would definitely stay here again for the location and comfort and convenience.
