"Lovely, quiet retreat. Well kept, clean property nestled deep in the woods. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Host is friendly and helpful. Will definitely consider staying here again, and will definitely recommend it to family and friends."

"Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very spacious. Easy drive to ski resorts and love that it is pet friendly. Neighbors were all very nice and accommodating. Having access to game room and pool table was added bonus."

"The place is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The view of the lake fromthe deck was gorgeous. The house is exactly as portrayed in the listing and is very private and peaceful. Everything we wanted in a long weekend away. We are already planning another visit! "

It's rustic, yet modern -- new appliances and bathrooms, new washer-dryer, new master bedroom, etc. But it still feels like an old A-frame ski lodge from the 1970s, especially with the vintage carpeting and living room furniture. "Black Diamond Chalet was the perfect weekend getaway for a group of 12. The location was a very easy drive from the Pittsburgh area using GPS. Inside, everything was well stocked, clean, and the jacuzzi tub was a perfect addition.Overall communication with the property manager for a few questions were responded to promptly. "The house was absolutely beautiful! For my bachelorette, my friends and I went white water rafting at Ohiopyle. This house was about an hour drive away, but it was so beautiful and we loved the wooded location that we still booked it. It definitely met our expectations, I will be coming back with family!"
