"Ised this as home base to do some exploring in Marquette and Munising. Had a couple days of bad weather,but we made the best of it and went down to the casino. The nice nights were spent looking at the lake while enjoying a nice fire. We actually lived the fact that there was no TV, internet, wifi and not so great cell service. It truly helped us unplug from the hectic lives we lead.The Foxhole is so cute and comfy. It was absolutely perfect for our vacation. We will definitely check into...

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the check-in was easy. They are adding a deck outside too, so that will be a nice addition as well. It’s down the road from the beach, a lake, and 15 minutes from Munising attractions. Also, this is a great spot to stay if you’re doing a waterfall tour. I’d definitely stay there again. "

I really didn't sleep in the beds because my sisters would find me sleeping in the bean bags. They were so comfortable and I just loved staying in the loft. "We had a very great stay at this house. We normally stay in Au Train and decided to venture a little further west this year. The house itself was very clean and had a nice comfortable large couch and kitchen island for hanging out. There was not immediate beach access, but we used the canoe provided and our own paddle board to traverse the river and head to lake Superior. "We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Breath taking views, quiet and serene. We grilled, had a fire and tested out the sauna! There was plenty to do just outside, but inside were games and whatnot to keep you entertained. We HIGHLY recommend and hope to return!"

"Great quiet place to get away from it all."

"The cabin is lovely, clean, and easy to find. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were able to go to several UP towns with ease and minimal driving. It was a little odd that instructions for check-in were sent late the night before, but we did get them and all went well. That said, because I was anxious about it, I messaged the host and she responded promptly that I should receive the check-in info soon. "What a great little getaway we had. The view was phenomenal, Looking out at the lake. We went kayaking was it was so peaceful and serene. Never heard so much quiet before. Was a little confused about the sign in agreement, but it all worked out. We definitely recommend this place and reading the directions on how to find it. It’s way back in the woods."
