"as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special"

"A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...

"Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough."

Recomendo vivamente. Anfitrião e pessoal muito afável e prestável. Ninguém deve hesitar em ficar lá. Pena não haver limpeza nos quartos."

"The family that run the accomodation were very nice people. Very helpful & accomodating. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka. The string hoppers & potato curry were fantastic. The pool was quite handy in front of our room, especially after a humid day. I would stay here again for sure."

"The host family is so helpful and kind. They gave great recommendations for things to do and eat as well as the occasional tuk tuk ride after dark. Highly recommend. "

"The exterior and lobby were so lovely. Staffs were kind and helpful. Pretty close to Sigiriya rock and there are some restaurants and small shops. I spent there so comfortably^_^"

"Quarto super limpo e o staff muito simpático. Recomendo muito!"

"Es war wirklich toll!"

"They made me wait for 45min because they couldn't confirm my booking with expedia they could have give me the room and check that by themselves since the booking is already confirmed."

"They and dogs have a good service."
