Sie waren entgegenkommend was die Anreise Zeit betraf und waren selbst am Sonntag Morgen vor Ort um die Schlüssel zu übergeben. "We spent a week here and truly enjoyed it. The location is perfect. Right in the historic district and a two minute walk to the Duomo. The street is quiet (we were there during May). Clarissa, the property manager, quickly responded to any and all questions. "Paola and Maurizio's Casa Greco apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Lecco, so convenient to the city's historic center. Their apartment was spacious, super clean and comfortable. Maurizio was such a gracious host and was immediately avaliable to answer any question and to assist with any travel arrangement. "The hosts should consider a smoother check in and check out procedure. There was a general lack of effective communication. The layout was a bit unusual with one full bathroom next to the kitchen and not near either of the main bedrooms. We only found out about a third bedroom into our stay. The property also had several expense items that are unusual including having to rent and pay extra for linens and requiring a security deposit refundable by the host after an inspection on check out. "The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

"We had an amazing time staying at Massimo’s place. The villa is even more beautiful in person and was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. It was central to a bunch of other nearby places on our list to visit and centrally located in the town. Massimo was a great host and very communicative and helpful throughout our stay as well as during our trip planning process. Can’t recommend staying here enough, and would love to come back to stay again. His place made our trip so special!"
