"Reception was excellent. Grounds/estate amazing, miles of walking and an historic church with a 900 or so old Yew. It is worth reading the history of the place, layers and layers of it. They take beautiful care of the property. I had a beautiful room with a beautiful view right out my doors and a little patio. Os funcionários não trabalham felizes, por vezes chegam a ser ríspidos. Não tem frigobar. O cardápio é igual sempre, no café da manhã e no jantar. "We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."

"The room was very clean with tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided. Not a great selection of teas but fine for us. The beds were comfortable and sheets clean and ironed. Small TV but that didn't bother us as we were out more than in. Good selection at breakfast with cereal, yoghurts, fruit juice. Very good cooked breakfast with several options. Tea and coffee served in your own pots. Staff really friendly."

"Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "
