"Janet was so friendly and helpful, and welcomed me with a warm smile and offered to help carry my bags to my room. The room was perfect for me. I chose the bigger room to have more room and an armchair to sit in during the evening. The view over the fields was beautiful and hearing the cows “talking” to each other was wonderfully relaxing reinforcing the peaceful atmosphere. "The property and surrounding area are quaint, lovely setting and very helpful staff. However, the room we stayed in was very tired, full of cobwebs and in need of a good clean and redecoration. With the heatwave going on, it would have been good to have a fridge in the room for cool drinks. There were fans but they just move the hot air about. The breakfast area was small for the number of guests staying in all the rooms. The garden area was nice, theres a pool, hot tub and sauna. However, there...

"A beautiful house in a lovely location. My room was extremely comfortable, as was my bed. The bathroom was great, with a powerful shower. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owners waited for me when I arrived late from the ferry coming in to Portsmouth, which I hugely appreciated. A lovely, peaceful B&B. "
