The property is in a great location and contains all you need for a great holiday. Bicycles and canoes are available to use. Two restaurants in the village and regular bus service to Leiden. Easy to get to Amsterdam using public transport too. Amber and family were responsive and welcoming.

Fabulous spot

This was wonderful place to stay. It was convenient to drive wherever we wanted to go. The town itself was lovely and the locale of this apartment was beautiful. Our view included a windmill, a canal and a church as well farm animals and plenty of green space. The owners were friendly and helpful. We loved our time here and were sad to leave. We would highly recommend staying here.

GemĆ¼tliche Ferienwohnung mit allem was man fĆ¼r einen erholsamen Urlaub benƶtigt. Durch die Lage kann man viele StƤdte (u.a. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag) sowie die Nordsee gut erreichen. Die Vermitterin ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders schƶn ist, dass man die FahrrƤder und Kajaks vor Ort jederzeit nutzen kann.

Sehr saubere und gut eingerichtete Wohnung

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt und die Vermieterin war super nett und kleine Probleme (defekte GlĆ¼hbirne in der Toilette) wurden sofort behoben. Eine Sache fanden wir nicht so schƶn: Wir waren zu viert und es gab nur 4 groƟe Teller, 2 Suppenteller und 4 Kuchenteller, das fanden wir zu wenig. Wir mussten die SpĆ¼lmaschine oft halbvoll anstellen. es wƤre super, wenn es von allen Tellern 8 gƤbe. Sonst war wirklich alles top.

Simply wonderful!

Delightful country setting with nature abounding. From the frogs, ducks, birds and horses, everything was soothing. Loved the apartment as it was clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and in perfect working order. Access to the bikes was a highlight as we enjoyed biking around the immediate countryside. Parking was convenient and there was a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

Schƶner Urlaub, freundliche Vermieterin. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Es kƶnnten in der KĆ¼che mehr Besteck und Teller sein. Die Umgebung bietet fĆ¼r jeden etwas. Viele Orte zum Bummeln oder Museums Besuche. Aber auch zum Radfahren oder Padeln geeignet.

Nice place to stay with family

So comfortable and a nice place to stay with family. Full equiped kitchen, washing machine, free use of bycicles and canoesā€¦. All the comodities. We have had a nice experience! We recommend platteland appartment so much.

Schƶne Unterkunft in idyllischer Lage

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. GrĆ¶ĆŸe und Ausstattung waren gut. Bei Nachfragen hatte die Vermieterin stets ein offenes Ohr. Bei Sturm und Regen ist die Unterkunft etwas hellhƶrig.

Sommerferien mit Kindern

Der Bungalow ist zweckmƤƟig eingerichtet. In der KĆ¼che ist fast alles vorhanden was man so zum Kochen benƶtigt. Auf dem Hof gibt es 3 Pferde, zwei Katzen, einen sehr lieben Hund und mehrere Schafe - sehr zur Freude unserer Kinder. FahrrƤder fĆ¼r Erwachsene und Kinder im Alter von ca. 10 Jahren sind vorhanden und kƶnnen kostenlos genutzt werden. Kajaks sind auch vorhanden (2x Einer, 1x Zweier) und man kann eine abenteuerliche Runde von ca. 2,5 Stunden paddeln - die Kinder fanden es super. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und auƟerordentlich hilfsbereit. Im Ort gibt es ein sehr angesagtes und gutes Restaurant, wo man am besten schon eine Woche im Voraus reserviert um Abends einen Platz zu bekommen. Das einzige was etwas stƶrt ist der Flugverkehr vom Flughafen Amsterdam. Insgesamt ein sehr schƶner Urlaub.

Cute cottage in bucolic setting in a true Dutch village.

The cottage was/is clean and efficient. An end unit, two bedroom apartment that has windows overlooking a canal and paddock. The cottage is well stocked with dishes, appliances (although we bought and left a fan because of the unseasonably hot weather) and comfortable furniture EXCEPT the beds. They are so narrow as to make turning over difficult. The mattress comfort did not make up for the lack of ability to stretch oneā€™s arm without hitting the wall. Unit did not have a hair dryer or toaster. Washing machine shared by all units took over 2 hours per load. Host was very nice and friendly and responsive. Lovely property.

Beautiful quiet farm

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farm with sheep, horses, and farm cats. The place was very clean and the location was great in between Amsterdam and The Hague. Would definitely stay again.

Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. In der KĆ¼che war alles vorhanden was man zum Kochen benƶtig. Die Umgebung ist wunderschƶn, viele Tiere und Natur. Trotzdem sind StƤdte wie z.B.Amsterdam schnell zu erreichen. Die Vermieter Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klare Urlaubsempfehlung!

Nice, very nice

The apartment we rent is perfect for holidays (four people). Clean, in the middle of a quite area. The owner is always available to give you good advices (we needed to see a doctor -on Sunday- and he gave us all necessary informations). Located in a field area colse to a village, it's very easy to go from there to other towns (even by train) all around. A nice holyday week.
