Originally a 13th–14th century fortified residence, Villa Il Forte has been elegantly restored, preserving its historic colonnade and tower walls. Accommodating up to 16 guests (12 in the main villa + 4 in the dependance), it sits near San Donato in Collina, just 14 km from Florence. Guests can elevate their holiday with private chef services, cooking classes, wine tastings, pizza nights and curated Tuscan experiences.

ACCOMMODATION: Villa Il Forte accommodates up to 16 guests (12 in the main villa and 4 in the adjacent dependance) and is powered entirely by eco-friendly systems, including solar energy and geothermal heating and air refreshment. The main villa is spread over three floors.

The ground floor features a professional kitchen with direct access to a covered pergola equipped with a BBQ, pizza oven, and outdoor dining area, along with a spacious dining room, a sitting room with TV, and an impressive 85 sqm lobby with piano. There are also two bathrooms and a king-size bedroom with ensuite bathtub.

On the first floor, you will find:

▪️Two double bedrooms (convertible into twins) with ensuite bathrooms;
▪️A single bedroom with bathroom next door.

A cozy sitting area with TV is located on the mezzanine, while the second floor hosts a king-size bedroom with a large bathroom divided into two sections.

The dependance (80 sqm), located next to the villa, offers a living room with kitchen on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the upper floor: one double (or twin) with bathroom next door, and one king-size bedroom with ensuite bathtub.

GARDEN AND SWIMMING POOL: The villa offers a beautiful 6 x 12 meter swimming pool, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2.80 meters, open from April to October. For added safety, the pool area is fully enclosed with a wooden fence and a gate, making it ideal for families with children.

Right outside the kitchen, you’ll find a charming gazebo, perfect for dining al fresco or simply relaxing outdoors. This space includes both a BBQ and a pizza oven, creating the ideal setting for unforgettable dinners under the Tuscan sky. The grounds surrounding the villa feature a peaceful country garden with centuries-old olive trees.

Fitness House - exclusive use: the villa features a private Fitness House, included in the rental price and located in a separate building about 50 meters from the main house. This exclusive wellness area offers gym equipment, a sauna, and a dedicated massage room, where a professional masseur can be arranged upon request for an additional fee. It provides a quiet and relaxing space for guests to enjoy during their stay.

🪪 Security deposit (payable upon arrival): Euro 1,000.00 in cash or credit card (will be returned upon departure, provided no damage has been caused by the guests).

🌿 The rental price includes all essential comforts to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. Guests are provided with towels and bed linen, with a mid-week change for weekly reservations, as well as one pool towel per person per week. Daily cleaning is also included, performed by two staff members for two hours each day (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

❄️ Please note that the air-refresh system is powered by geothermal energy. This technology allows the indoor temperature to remain approximately 10–12°C cooler than the outside temperature. For example, if the temperature outdoors is 30°C, the inside of the house will be kept at around 19–20°C.
