They have lovely decor in the restaurant and old style photos that were taken on site over the years. It has such charm to this place. If you have reservations, check in takes place inside the restaurant. They had alot of pasta options for dinner and most everyone got pasta in our group. "More than expected! The grounds of the lodge have lovely shade trees, multiple seating areas, a stream, and a great view of Mono Lake. The room was spacious and clean. Check-in was fast. Yes, there is a bit of road noise, but we played ocean sounds on the phone and slept soundly."
