"I stayed at this property for four nights. Before our trip, the owner was very responsive and flexible. We received a detailed check-in email, but after arriving late at night following a long, delayed flight, we discovered the instructions were missing a critical detail and had confusing terminology: how to unlock the front door and calling, a key fob a token. We were unable to get inside and had to find a hotel at 3:00 a.m. The owner responded the next morning explaining what we did wrong and...

"The host texted me from two different numbers that belong to a completely different name on the VRBO site. Which made me completely uncomfortable. Also, the check in information was sent via VRBO and then texted to me with a different code. I had to tell the host that to stop texting me and message me through VRBO only. Then the evening of the arrival the driveway was completely full, and it looked like someone was in the apartment. The neighborhood also seemed questionable when it comes to...

"This was the worst place ever. Black mold on walls and mouse feces and shelves. The pictures on the listing were definitely not the same house. Left the house right away and had to go back to get pictures. Didn’t even stay 10 mins in the house and booked a hotel room. I requested a full refund due to unsanitary conditions and not staying in home. Host still has not gotten back to me about it and it’s been over a week. I would not recommend staying at the property even if it’s the only place...

"Very disappointed with our stay. Wasn’t clean. Was just an overall dirty feeling. The door on the side doesn’t lock properly. The front door constantly gave us issues by not accepting the code that was provided or just wouldn’t unlock at all. The host did not try to accommodate us even after going out and spending more money to make the home feel like a home. It was a terrible experience."
