"We had a great long weekend at the cabin and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and the bed slept just fine. Larry was an amazing host who even called me ahead of the trip to make sure I had directions just in case we lost cell service. Also, he is a very talented artist and had many of his original works hanging in the cabin. My only complaint is I didn’t have 2 cash on me as he had some of his prints for sale...

"We only stayed for one night so that we could continue on our cross country trip, but found ourselves wishing we could stay longer! We arrived late, but was pleasantly surprised by the well lit yard, ease of entry, and cold water waiting for us upon arrival. We spent some time outside before turning in and even though it was hot a muggy, no bugs! Highly recommend!"

"We truly enjoyed the seclusion and being where we could enjoy seeing the birds, deer, skunks and even a rat snake. The sound of the whip'o'wills in the evening was so calming. Our teenage granddaughter enjoyed the soaking tub immensely. Seeing the baby birds come out of their shells in the their nest above the front porch was a great treat ad well. The only suggestion that I would make would be a larger crock pot and a few more latge pots. We cooked in the evening and there were 5 of us."

"Our stay at Owl and Moon was wonderful. We only stayed one night, but it was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from the large deck were gorgeous. The cabin is well-appointed, comfortable, and perfect for a get-a-way. We will be back! "

"We had a great time at this place! Our only complaint was that we weren’t expecting it to be so nice! The view is beautiful and the layout of the interior is very cozy! The hot tub and fire pit both contributed nicely to the place being very relaxing! The coffee bar was phenomenal! We were able to make lattes and cappuccinos to sip on the back while watching the sunrise over Valley Head! 10 outa 10 on this place!"

"Absolutely Loved this place. All the kids (4) loved the mini game table and arcade game in the loft. Place was clean and well stocked with dishes, small appliances, plenty of towels and such. Would definitely stay again. "

"This was our third time staying at Emerson’s Cabin. We enjoy the quaint cabin, the trails and the creek. Perfect place to unwind and to slow down from the fast pace of life. The place is clean with plenty of provided items (paper towels, toilet paper, cooking pans, books, games, extra blankets, etc) We highly recommend the cabin! "

Make sure to list the qty of your party as this listing charges extra per person after 2 & only provides towels for the number in your reservation. Beds were very comfortable. We were not there long enough to cook however there appeared to be a good supply of kitchen ware plus they provided soaps etc. This house is located in a loop of homes and there is a little pond to visit if you have time. It is very quiet and secluded at the bottom...
