"We had a great long weekend at the cabin and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and the bed slept just fine. Larry was an amazing host who even called me ahead of the trip to make sure I had directions just in case we lost cell service. Also, he is a very talented artist and had many of his original works hanging in the cabin. My only complaint is I didn’t have 2 cash on me as he had some of his prints for sale...

"We really enjoyed the pool, which was cold and perfect for the summer heat. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt relaxed and comfortable. There is a couch in the living room even though the photos do not show it. The hang gliders were fun to watch as well. "

"The perfect 3 day getaway. The cottage was cozy with lamps on and soft music playing when we walked into a truly inviting atmosphere. This was our second time renting this cottage and we will definitely return. "

"Wonderful spot my family enjoyed as we ventured around Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga. Peaceful mornings watching birds and nature off the porch after restful nights in the comfortable beds. Hoping to return here soon. "

"It is always great to come to the mountains in Mentone such and tranquil area to rest and relax. This place was a wonderful place to relax for the few days we were in town for and the view from the cottage words don't do it justice. Host was very accomodating and easy to work with and available to answer any questions that may arise. Definitely a place to stay if you are planning a trip to Northeast Alabama."

"We only stayed for one night so that we could continue on our cross country trip, but found ourselves wishing we could stay longer! We arrived late, but was pleasantly surprised by the well lit yard, ease of entry, and cold water waiting for us upon arrival. We spent some time outside before turning in and even though it was hot a muggy, no bugs! Highly recommend!"

"The space was so cute and the property manager reached out and made sure we understood everything we needed to know. I definitely recommend the place but not for toddlers. "

"We truly enjoyed the seclusion and being where we could enjoy seeing the birds, deer, skunks and even a rat snake. The sound of the whip'o'wills in the evening was so calming. Our teenage granddaughter enjoyed the soaking tub immensely. Seeing the baby birds come out of their shells in the their nest above the front porch was a great treat ad well. The only suggestion that I would make would be a larger crock pot and a few more latge pots. We cooked in the evening and there were 5 of us."

"Our stay at Owl and Moon was wonderful. We only stayed one night, but it was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from the large deck were gorgeous. The cabin is well-appointed, comfortable, and perfect for a get-a-way. We will be back! "

"I chose this because of the screened in porch to give time and space for some reading and journaling. I now only wish I would have spent more time on the porch but it was great. Do note that there are two other units in the same building. I knew that when I booked this, but my neighbor did not so just be sure you're clear that you are not going to have the whole building to yourself. My neighbors had not originally left me a parking space so make sure you pay attention to the diagram included in...
