"The staff was very friendly, however, the rooms were disappointing. The walls must be very thin because we could hear people talking in the next room and they weren’t arguing. Also, the tub made so much noise when you stood in it that it sounded like it was going to fall through the floor. Grout was missing on the bathroom tile floor and were uneven and crackled. It may have just been the room that we stayed in, but it felt unsafe. The breakfast was disappointing as was our stay."

"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "The front desk staff were really nice. I appreciated the warm welcome and smiles. The parking attendant was very helpful. The room was fairly clean. The conditioner was completely out in the shower. The ac didn’t seem to cool off to the temp we wanted. When I went down to the front around 9 pm after a long day at the hospital I was alarmed to hear that another customer had bed bugs in the room.
