"The room smelled clean, bed was nice, clean and comfortable, shower had stains from a cleaner, carpet needed replaced. Water was barely warm enough for a shower and the second night the warm water turned cool mid shower. That was a cold shower and my sister ended up not getting a shower because of no hot water. "Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs.
