There is no hotel lobby or in person check-in, but the online system works really well and there are staff both near by and a text away. The team is very kind and helpful. I thought it was a nice location, mostly a residential area, and it was easy to drive into town. There are very few amenities at the hotel. "We arrived late evening and the overnight receptionist was wonderful. Very professional, and prompt to assist with our accommodation needs… extra towels and sheets for sofa bed. We woke, expecting to miss breakfast but was pleased to see it was still available for the most part at 10 am with many guests still indulging. Rooms appeared to be recently renovated and in clean condition. First sofa bed mattress that ever looking brand new and no stains for our child to utilize. "

"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs.
