"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "Rooms need some TLC they are worn out. I didn't have anyone come to clean my room. First day I had put the sign do not disturb, the second day I did not. Not sure what happened there. Partial beach view was nice. Never had the breakfast but seemed like bagels and pancakes, cereal and fruit. Coffee/tea was nice to have. "
