"What I booked online is not the room I was given. I booked a premier king suite and it looked like someone went bargin hunting for used furniture and put it in the suite. The couch had stains on it and looked unclean which in return made me not want to use it. The curtains were stained, it looked like the windows had not been clean for months. I went to use a towel only to find red rust stains on it or at least I hope it was rust. Both toilet seats had chips in them. The quality of the...

"La atención de Karen es excelente y muy eficiente . La habitacion frente al mar es hermosa ."

"LOVE the affordability of this property. No frills. Not for anyone expecting more. Clean enough. Love the keypad access so no worry carrying any key. Walking distance to downtown and Roanoke Island (if fit enough)."

"A small but very clean and well maintained motel. Comfortable beds and quiet HVAC. Close to casual food options."

"Awesome location and great amenities. Rain prohibited us from making full use of the amenities. We would go back. Lots of nice non-chain places to eat."

"Nice job in sprucing up the property. Unfortunately, it is like putting lipstick on a pig. No daily maid or line service. Only one clothes hanger in the closet. Charging for parking? Really? But the worst was an additional charge of $50 when asking for á 30 minute extention on our check out time!"

"The staff was fabulous and very helpful! The location is incredible. So nice to have a kitchenette! Everything is very bright. It was great to have a parking spot as the town has paid parking. I would stay here again."

"Our stay at Silver Lake was wonderful, Hanna & John were perfect hosts and have done a great job with renovating both the hotel and The Jolly Roger! The room was spacious and well appointed with all needs met. The newly added rockers and side tables on the porch were enjoyable and the resort Bicycles made getting around a fun experience."

"This was our third stay at the Inlet Inn. The staff is outstanding, very helpful and professional. We love waking up in the morning and enjoying our breakfast while watching activities at the marina. We were in room 107 this time. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. But, I guess they have been flooded once too often. The ugly vinyl floor is popping up so that we had a puffy floor. The decor is no longer charming. It’s more basic hotel vibe. We miss the charm of our first visit,...
