"Pretty nice experience to spend a night in the desert in a comfy room! Wonderful place to staring the night sky.
Could just be a little more careful with cleaning- although room was very good, the closet and coffee machine were not. "

"Got snowed in and was forced to book a hotel in the area for the night
To my pleasant surprise, the staff was very caring and hospitable. Provided me alternative route directions for the following morning.
The room was spacious yet cozy and very well kept. More than what I could say for most hotels. I don't know when, but I will make an effort to stay again sometime in the future. Hopefully under better circumstances however. "

"The host and co-host were amazing. They were both extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future. The creek down below was so serene and peaceful. Absolutely love it. The only set back for us was the snow, we weren't prepared for that. Make sure you're prepared if you're going for the snow. The roads could be dangerous. "

"Oaks Retreat was the perfect location for our stay outside of Yosemite National Park. In addition to spending full days in the park, we explored Bear Valley, Coulterville and the surrounding area. Highly recommend the area.The house was clean and comfortable, with "nice to have" items in the house: electronic chargers, reference materials for local establishments and places to explore. "
